Creation Station Blog Hop - Saleabrate Friendship

 Hello and welcome,

My name is Vicki Boucher, and I am from Melbourne, Australia. This is the latest hop with the design team at Creation Station, if you have come from Julie Mercer Beltramo or you may have started with me. Please make sure you hop around and see everyone's amazing projects. I'll pop a link at the end of my blog.

The design team at Creation Station are presenting their projects with the theme "Sale-a-brate Friendship" it always special to create a project for a friend and I just love FREE Stampin' Up! products. Sale-a-bration is here again from 4 Jan until 29 Feb 2024 when you shop and earn free products.

I created my project for this month's theme using the free Softly Stippled 12"x 12" Designer Series Paper, the free Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder and the new Stippled Roses Bundle.

Softly Stippled 12"x 12" Designer Series Paper

The Softly Stippled 12"x 12" Designer Series Paper (162975) has 12 sheets 2 each of 6 double-sided designs which coordinates with Stippled Roses Bundle (162667) which is in the Mini Catalogue Jan-April 2024. The designer series paper is so beautiful and I love the colours too.

One thing I love to do with paper is rip it up and expose the white edges of the paper. I just tear the edge of the paper with my fingers and then layer the paper over one another. It's a fun organic technique for your projects.

The main rose image is from the Stippled Roses stamp set stamped in Pebbled Path ink onto Basic White Cardstock and then die-cut out with the Stippled Roses Dies. I also used some of the smaller rose images from the Softly Stippled 12"x 12" Designer Series Paper, fussy cut them out and coloured them in using Moody Mauve ink with a Sponge Dauber.

Another way to use the Softly Stippled 12"x 12" Designer Series Paper is to use detailed dies from the Stippled Roses Dies and die-cut the images out. Here I used the Pool Party designer series paper.

I also used the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder which is part of the free Softly Sophisticated Bundle (162947) I used Pebbled Path Cardstock, die-cut a half panel using the embossing folder and then torn the cardstock along one side.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love to hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below. Make sure you pop over to Kathy Brown Kartak for lots of inspiration in her projects.
