Week 22 Art With Heart Colour Creations Weekly Showcase Just Jade

Hello and welcome to Week 22 with the Art With Heart Colour Creations Weekly Showcase. Which the lovely Catherine Proctor is running our weekly blog and with a selection of other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from the Art With Heart Team.

This week we are featuring Just Jade in our projects it's a colour I like to use with other greens and a pop of soft pinks for my projects. Just Jade is part of the 2020-2021 In Color Collections and comes in a range of Stampin' Up! products such as the Classic Stampin' Pad, Cardstock, Stampin' Blends and more.

For my project I've used the Love of Leaves Bundle which just arrived in my latest Stampin' Up! order and it was perfect for what I had in mind. The Bundle is on page 49 of the Stampuin' Up! August - December 2020 Mini Catalogue and it can be purchased from my online store.

Love of Leaves Bundle

I've used Just Jade with Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride this colour combo is just gorgeous together. I just love the softness of the colours together.

The images are stamped in the above colours onto Whisper White Cardstock and die cut out using the Stitched Leaves Dies. I just love the detail of the dies and the watery look of the stamped images.

I've seen some amazing layouts using this bundle and I cased the layout from Cindy's card at Stampin' Through the Catalog. But this time I've switched the DSP to the bottom layer and the top layer is a water colour wash.

Layering the different leaves onto the paper and the Just Jade Gingham Ribbon. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set stamped in Just Jade Ink.

Thank you for visiting my blog with the Colour Creations Weekly Showcase and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's projects.

Colour INKspiration Challenge #88

Hello and welcome,

Today’s Colour INKspiration Challenge #88 is using these gorgeous colours – Just Jade, Crumb Cake, Pretty Peacock and Crushed Curry. This isn't my usual type of colour combo but I was up for the challenge! The photo for our challenge is just gorgeous!

I've created a Christmas card for the challenge and the Wishes and Wonder Bundle was perfect for the challenge colours. The bundle is on page 32 of the Stampin' Up! 2020 Mini Catalogue and is available in my online store.

Starting off with Pretty Peacock card base, stamp the foliage in Pretty Peacock Ink then adding a layer of embossed Just Jade Cardstock and DSP from the Flowers for Every Season 6"x 6".

Before layering the paper onto the card base, I've added three strands of Linen Thread and secured it with Tear n' Tape.

Using two thin strips of DSP one in Crushed Curry and the other in Pretty Peacock to my layers.

The tag die from the North Pole Wonder Dies is my all time favourite using Crumb Cake and stamping the sentiment in Crumb Cake on the tag. I've sponged Crumb Cake Ink with the Sponge Dauber around the edges this gives it an old world look about it.

I've added three sprigs in Crushed Curry for some added texture, the deer is in Crumb Cake and the Pretty Peacock tree is from the Pine Wood Dies also in the Mini Catalogue. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set and is stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink.

Heart of Christmas 2020 - October by the Art With Heart Team Australia

Hello and welcome,

Tonight the Art With Heart Team will be showcasing their Christmas projects with you for the month of October. The lovely Judy May is the host for our monthly hop, so make sure you click on her name at the end of this blog.

For my project I've created a slimline card they are on trend at the moment and I just had to try it for my self. I finally used the Gnome for the Holidays Stamp Set I've had this set for a while now and I couldn't wait to create something with this set. You can find this stamp set on page 23 of the Stampin' Up! August - December 2020 Mini Catalogue. I love the Gnomes and colouring them in was fun too!

I cased Artisan designer Stesha Bloodhart's slimline Gnome card, she creates amazing cards and I really liked how she used the Stampin' Blends when colouring in the Gnomes.

The colours in the Snowflake Splendor DSP was perfect for my Christmas card and it's currently on sale with 15% off for the month of October 2020. To find out more you can contact me or visit my online store.

Snowflake Splendor DSP

Ink up the Gnomes in Memento Ink onto Whisper White cardstock, colour in with the Stampin' Blends using the following colours light & dark Balmy Blue, Purple Posy, Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Smoky Slate and the Color Lifter.

To make the slimline card start with Thick Whisper White Cardstock, cut 20cm x 22cm score at 10cm. I've used the Snow Flake Splendor DSP the colours are so beautiful and cool. The snowflake DSP cut at 9.5cm x 21cm sets the seen for the background.

Next I used Whisper White Cardstock, 9cm x 20.5cm. Using the Layering Circles Dies, die cut three circles all the same size. I added a circle frame for each of the die cut circles and coloured them in with the Stampin' Blends.

Adding soft snow for each of the Gnomes to stand on, I've used Whisper White Cardstock and the Pine Woods Dies. Adding sponging to the edge with the Sponge Dauber and Balmy Blue Ink.

I also added a few different elements to the card like the inked up tree from the Pine Wood Dies and the softly sponged Jingle Bell from the Sounds of the Season Dies. To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy onto a strip of Whisper White Cardstock and added a snowflake from the So Many Snowflakes Dies.

Now it's time to visit Judy May's blog and the rest of the participants for this month's Heart of Christmas Showcase.

Your Creative Connection Dies to Die for #YCC117

Hello and welcome to Your Creative Connection where you'll be hoping around the world to see our latest theme "Dies to Die for". We will be using Dies in our projects.

Dies help you create unique die-cut shapes using different types of paper to cut-out shapes with a quick run through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine. The Dies include ejection holes so you can remove the paper easily.

Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine

I've created a Christmas card using a number of different Dies for my project. I started off with the Sounds of the Seasons Dies which is on page 33 of the Stampin' Up! August - December 2020 Mini Catalogue.

Using Silver Foil I've die cut out three of the Jingle Bells and Green Foil for the foliage. I just love the tiny detail that's on the Jingle Bells and they shine nicely in Silver Foil.

The Stitched Rectangle Dies are perfect for a boarder around your images and they provide a nice finish to the card. There are 13 different sizes for the stitched rectangles and the largest one is 5-1/4" x 3-7/8" (13.3 x 9.8cm).

Wonder of the Season Specialty DSP

The Wonder of the Season is a Specialty Designer Series Paper the vintage designs come in red foil, gold foil and black script writing on the other side.

My brand new favourite Dies would have to be the Joy Dies they are in the Mini Catalogue and you can save 10% when purchased together.

Peace & Joy Bundle

The Peace & Joy Bundle is a must for any crafter. I used them with the Foam Adhesive Sheets, giving you instant double sided adhesive and height to your projects.

To finish off my project I created a bow using the Real Red Sheer Ribbon for my Christmas card.

Now it's time to visit the lovely Dawn Olchefske in Minneapolis, USA and to see her beautiful project.

Hello and welcome to Week 20 with the Art With Heart Colour Creations Weekly Showcase. Which the lovely Catherine Proctor is running our weekly blog and with a selection of other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from the Art With Heart Team.

This week we are featuring Gray Granite in our projects it's a colour I like to use when creating a vintage style or masculine style in my projects. Gray Granite is part of the Neutrals Collection and comes in a range of Stampin' Up! products such as the Classic Stampin' Pad, Cardstock, DSP and more.

Gray Granite

For my project I've used the Fancy Phrases and Free as a Bird Stamp Sets they mix well together. The images are stamped in black Stazon Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock and water colouring both images using the Water Painters. Which I just love to use! The colours for the water colouring are Gray Granite, Rococo Rose and Balmy Blue.

Under the bird and flowers, I've used a medium size Stitched Nested Labels Die and sponged with a Dauber using Seaside Spray.

Gray Granite comes in a couple of different Designer Series Paper and I've used the Peony Garden DSP for my project.

Peony Garden DSP

There is a DSP sale on for the month of October 2020 and customers receive 15% off a selection of DSP.  You can order as many as you like, so it's a great time to stock up on DSP from the Stampin' Up! Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Mini Catalog Designer Paper

Hello and welcome

Today at the Stamping Sunday Design Team we will be sharing our projects using Designer Paper from the Stampin' Up! August to December 2020 Mini Catalogue. We could either create a beginner, casual or avid card. Or create a card and 3D project, which I decided on.

I was drawn to the stunning Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper which is on page 37 of the Mini Catalogue. I just love the selection of wintery blues & mauves and the hand-painted snowflakes. Stampin' Up! have a fantastic Designer Series Paper sale on for the month of October 2020 which includes this DSP for more details about the sale I'll have a link at the end of my blog to my on-line store.

Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper

You can do so much when it comes to Designer Series Paper and I'll show you a couple of different examples.

Easel Card

I've used the DSP and Whisper White Cardstock to create an easel card which is very easy to do. I started with a sheet of 12" x 12" Whisper White Cardstock, cut at 6" x 12" and scored at 3" & 6". Then cut another piece at 6" x 6" for the card front. The two smaller pieces of DSP are cut at 2.76" x 5.71 and two larger pieces at 5.71" x 5.71" this gives a nice white boarded around the DSP.

For the front panel the DSP is embossed using the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder which adds another layer to the card. The tiny snow flakes are stamped on the DSP in Balmy Blue Ink, using the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set. To set the wintery scene I've used different dies in Whisper White Cardstock, sponged ink with the Sponge Dauber and added Wink of Stella for added sparkle.

I've stamped the snowflake images and sentiment onto the two smaller panels for the inside of the easel card. The larger piece I've added a strip of Snowflake Splendor Ribbon so the card can sit up. The Dies from the Peace and Joy Bundle using the DSP and Whisper White Cardstock.

3D Project

The wintery snowflake Mini Pizza Box is my other project for today's blog. I've ink up the box using the Stamping Sponge and Balmy Blue Ink. Then I spritzed the box by filling up a Stampin' Spritzer using a drop of Frost White Shimmer Paint and rubbing alcohol. This gives the box a nice sparkle.

I've made a belly band for the box by using a wide strip of Snowflake Splendor DSP, then wrapping the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon around the box three times. Using the Dies from the Wishes and Wonder Bundle, I've die cut out the stitched gift tag and stitched starburst circle using the DSP.

I also used the deer and the leaves from the North Pole Dies, it's such a great bundle for your Christmas projects. The Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper is perfect for the So Many Snowflakes Dies adding more sparkle to the Christmas Mini Pizza Box.

A few more added touches such as using the Silver Foil for the Joy die image, clear droplets from the Flowers for every season Gems and Wink of Stella. The Mini Pizza Box makes a nice gift for someone special at Christmas time.

Make sure you click on the below links to see the other designers. I can't wait to see their creations and how they've used Designer Paper in their projects.
