Week 4 Art With Heart Colour Creations Weekly Showcase Blackberry Bliss

Hello to all the lovely stampers out there! Welcome to Week 4 with the Art With Heart Colour Creations weekly Showcase which the lovely Catherine Proctor will be running a weekly blog and with other members from the Art With Heart Team. This week we are featuring Blackberry Bliss and I hope we will inspire you with our variations of this gorgeous colour.

Blackberry Bliss is from the Regals Collection and comes in a range of Stampin' Up! products from the Classic Stampin' Pad, Cardstock, Stampin' Blends, DSP and more. Even Rainbow Glimmer Paper which I might have to purchase on my next order.

I really struggled with this colour, because I only realised that I hardly had any Cardstock left in this colour. I had only scraps and this card front, but I was determined to create something. Blackberry Bliss is a gorgeous rich colour and I wanted to combined it with other bright colours for my sunflower.

The Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle is just right for these bright bold colours, I've stamped the image in Stazon Jet Black Ink onto Watercolor Paper and watercoloured the image with the Water Painters. Blending the following colours together are starting with Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Poppy Parade and a new In Color Bumble Bee. I continued to add colour until I was happy with the application. The leaves from the stamp set are also in the same colours.

The images from the Sunflower Dies, die cut out the stamped images, but they also have a few extra dies which can add another dimension to your sunflowers and leaves. This can give you a completely different look to your creations. I really love the black paper against the bright colours and it almost looks like Etch Art.

The white square panel under the Sunflower is a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and with a Sponge Dauber I've applied Blackberry Bliss Ink onto the Cardstock. I like to start in the center and work my way out in a circle motion.

I've randomly stamped the leaf image a number of times using Blackberry Bliss Ink onto the panel of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock and then I ran the panel through the die cutting machine with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. The panel is layered over Thick Whisper White card base.

The sentiment is heat embossed, using Versmark Ink, White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Basic Black Cardstock and fussy cut around the sentiment. I've added a Gold metallic bow to finish off the card.

Please visit Catherine's Blog to see her creation and all the links are there as well, so you’ll be able to see everyone’s creations for this week’s showcase.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope you’ve enjoyed how I’ve used  Blackberry Bliss. Make sure you come back next week to see Bushing Bride in our projects.

Colour INKspiration Challenge #80

Hello and welcome to our latest Colour INKspiration Challenge #80 and this beautiful photo is our inspiration for our projects. The colours for this challenge are Rococo Rose, Soft Sea Foam, Purple Posy, Whisper White and Crumb Cake. I just love the combination of these colours together. You can also add Very Vanilla, Basic Black and metallics.

The challenge runs for almost 2 weeks and will end at 7pm (AEST) on 6th July 2020. I hope you’ll enter into the Colour INKspiration Challenge we would so love to see your creation. More details below.

I've used the beautiful Peony stamped image from the Prized Peony Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink and coloured in the flower with the Stampin' Blends. I've used Purple Posy light & dark and Soft Sea Foam light & dark for the leaves. The coordinating Peony Dies cut out the large Peony image, plus all the other Peonies and leaves from the set.

The card base is Crumb Cake with an additional embossed Crumb Cake layer using the new Meadow Moments Embossing Folder, I've actually embossed it twice on either side and you can hardly see where it's joined up.

As I was creating my card today, I had a delivery from Stampin' Up! which was great timing, so I included the 2019-2021 In Color 6"x 6" DSP and I've used a sheet of Purple Posy, I love the small printed font. The DSP blends in well with the coloured Peony and cute Butterfly Gems.

The panel under the Peony is Shimmery White Cardstock, I've created a water colour wash of Rococo Rose and stamped the diamond stamp a few times for the background.

I had to add a bow using the Linen Thread which compliments well with Crumb Cake and the challenge colours. The sentiment is from Fancy Phases Stamp Set another new product I just received today and I can't wait to start playing with this stamp set. I really like the font.

Make sure you come and visit our Facebook group to enter the competition, we would so love to see how you would use these colours.

Click here at Colour INKspiration Facebook group to take part and upload the photo of your creation. You don’t need a blog to enter either. Share with your crafty friends, so they can join in with the challenges too.

Hope to see you there!

Happy Crafting

Social Stamping Blog Host - Thinking of You

Welcome to this weeks Social Stamping Bog Host, we are sharing our creations with the theme Thinking of You. Thank you once again to Kelly Kent for organizing another amazing blog hop and with all of these amazing women. Make sure you check out everyone’s blog to see their creations.

When someone is feeling down or has lost someone, sending a Thinking of You card is a lovely idea to write a warm and caring message to brighten up their day. Sending a card can make a big difference and it just might be the thing someone needs to get through their tough day. Showing kindness is the key to making our lives feel so much better.

Peony Garden Suite

The beautiful Peony Garden Suite is perfect for a Thinking of You card and Stampin' Up! sure know how to showcase a stunning suite. It's in the latest 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue with beautiful blooms of Peonies, it's very sophisticated and the colours are gorgeous. All of the products from this suite was on my whish list.

The Peony die cut image is from the Peony Dies, I've used Watercolor Paper, applied ink with the new Water Painters using Petal Pink for the Peony and Soft Sea Foam and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves. There are a number of pieces, but they can easily be put together with lining the pieces up at the same point and apply Multipurpose Liquid Glue works well.

The layers for the card are Gray Granite for the card base, Peony Garden Designer Series Paper, I've used two layers one in Petal Pink and the other in Gray Granite. I just love the different designs.

I applied Petal Pink Ink with the wide bristle brush onto a piece of Shimmery Cardstock and flicked ink using the Petal Pink Stampin' Blend onto the Cardstock. To achieve the look use the brush tip and flick against the inside of the lid.

The sweet Square Vellum Doilies adds a soft elegance to the card and I added the Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon over a strip of Petal Pink DSP. The Peony is layered with lots of Stampin' Dimensionals to finish off my project.

Make sure you see everyone’s creative projects with the Thinking of You theme in our latest Social Stamping Blog Host.

Art With Heart June Creative Showcase - New Catalogue Products

Welcome to the Art With Heart Team Creative Showcase. This month the team are featuring projects using their favourite products from the new Stampin’ Up! 2020-21 Catalogue. The new catalogue is full of amazing new stamp sets, some bundled with dies or punches. The range of kits, papers and accessories complete the range of products you will see featured in this Showcase.

The new Stampin' Up! products that I have chosen for my creations are just some of the new In-colors for 2020 - 2022 I've used Magenta Madness, Just Jade and Misty Moonlight. Stampin' Up! have two more new In-colors, they are Bumble Bee and Cinnamon Cider. My projects are showcasing different types of mediums such as paper, ribbon, Stampin' Blends and watercolour.

Magenta Madness

The gorgeous stamp image and sentiment is from the Prized Peony Stamp Set. I just love this flower and the best part is you can colour it in by using the Stampin' Blends or you could watercolour it in too. There are also coordinating Peony Dies which have a number of dies to use and create with for your projects. The added bonus is when you purchase the two together you save 10% off when purchased as a bundle.

Misty Moonlight

Next I wanted to create a watercolour washed background for the Peony, to do this I used Shimmery White Cardstock, wide bristle brush from the Water Painters and water. Firstly I like to place just water onto the panel of the Cardstock, before adding coloured ink with the brush. The wide brush is amazing and you can achieve so much ink onto the paper quickly. I added some ink splatter, by flicking the brush tip from the lid using the Stampin' Blends.

Just Jade

I've embossed the Coloured Cardstock with the new Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder, it's so beautiful to show off an array of diamonds on the cardstock and I've layered it over the Smoky Slate card base.

Also in the new 2020-2022 In-colors are 1/4" Twill Ribbon and I've layered it with a strip of the In Color 6"x 6" Designer Series Paper. Using the Heat Tool, I've heat set using the White Stampin' Emboss Powder for the sentiment. Layering the three pieces together with adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals. The last added touch to my cards are the stunning Elegant Faceted Gems they are so beautiful and they come in Clear, Petal Pink and pearlescent white.

The next Art With Heart Team member to share their new catalogue projects is Caroline Manwaring.

Week 3 Art With Heart Colour Creations weekly Showcase - Bermuda Bay

Hello and welcome to Week 3 with the Art With Heart Colour Creations weekly Showcase which the lovely Catherine Proctor will be running a weekly blog and with other members from the Art With Heart Team. This week we are featuring Bermuda Bay and I hope we will inspire you with our variations of this gorgeous colour.

Bermuda Bay is from the Brights Collection and comes in a range of Stampin' Up! products from the Classic Stampin' Pad, Cardstock, Stampin' Blends, DSP and more. It's such a bright happy colour which I've created for this Birthday card, combing Magenta Madness, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green.

Bermuda Bay can be a strong solid colour as well as a soft subtle colour, which I've shown here by creating watercolour stripes on a panel of Shimmery White Cardstock. Using the large flat brush from the new Water Painters. I'm so in love with the new brushes and creating instant large stripes was fun!

The flowers are from the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set, I've used the two smaller flowers, stamped them in the above mentioned colours and fussy cut them out. I started to arrange the flowers on the piece of Shimmery White Cardstock and I thought how about a wreath! This way you can see the soft and solid colours combined together.

The Magenta Madness works well with Bermuda Bay, so I've added a layer of Cardstock to the Bermuda Bay card base. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set, I've used Versamark Ink, White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. I like to add a thin strip of Cardstock under the greeting and it also finishes off the card nicely.

Please visit Catherine's Blog to see her creation and all the links are there as well, so you’ll be able to see everyone’s creations for this week’s showcase.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope you’ve enjoyed how I’ve used Bermuda Bay. Make sure you come back next week to see Blackberry Bliss in our projects.

Social Stamping Blog Host - Travel

Welcome to the latest Social Stamping Bog Host, this week we will be sharing our creations with the theme Travel. Thank you to Kelly Kent for organizing another amazing blog hop and with all these amazing women. Make sure you check out everyone’s blog to see their creations.

Oh how I would love to go away somewhere nice and warm on a holiday at the moment. Melbourne's weather has been so chilly lately, so a nice tropical island would be amazing! Times are very different with not even being able to travel outside of Victoria at the moment, hopefully one day this will change.

In Color 2020-2022 Magenta Madness

My card can be my dream that I'm on a tropical island and watching the beautiful colours of the sunset. I've used one of the new In Colors Magenta Madness it's such a pretty pink, I love it so much! The colours that I've used for the watercolour scene starting with the water are Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay. For the sky I've used So Saffron, Mango Melody and Magenta Madness blending the colours together with the new Water Painters using the large flat brush apply ink onto the Watercolor Paper. The new brushes are amazing, especially the flat brush.

The tropical island is from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and Tropics Dies, the palms are in Magenta Madness, for the flowers I've inked up a piece of Shimmery Whisper White Cardstock and using Magenta Madness and So Saffron ink to create a subtle look. The sentiment is die cut out twice and layered on a piece of Basic Back Cardstock, fussy cut out.

On the Thick Whisper White card base I've sponged a little of  Magenta Madness ink onto the Cardstock, layered with a smaller piece of Basic Black and Whisper White to finish off the card. This  gives a photograph look to the card.

Peony Garden Suite page 82 Stampin' Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue

The Bundle comes from the Peony Garden Suite and I would have to say this is such a stunning suite. The colours are just gorgeous in the DSP, so are the Stamps, Dies, Embossing Folder and so much more.

Today's card is a little bit different as I've used Very Vanilla and Basic Black to create a Vintage card. I just love the diamond stamp which I've used to create the background panel and the large Peony stamp is beautiful just as it is.

My latest favourite Embossing Folder is the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder and I've embossed the strip of Basic Black Cardstock. The Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim and Pearls are perfect with this set.

I'll be doing a Card Class with this set for sure!

Need a Stampin' Up! Catalogue or this Suite? You can contact me here and I'll be happy to help.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

Week 2 AWH Colour Creations weekly showcase - Basic Gray

Hello and welcome to Week 2 with the Art With Heart Colour Creations weekly Showcase which the lovely Catherine Proctor will be running a weekly blog and with other members from the Art With Heart Team. This week we are featuring Basic Gray and I hope we will inspire you with our variations of this gorgeous colour.

Basic Gray is from the Neutrals Collection, it’s available in Ink, Cardstock and DSP. I’ve created my card using some of these products and I’ve matched it with Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose and Blushing Bride. Oh, did I mentioned Wink of Stella was used? There’s a lot of glitter on the flowers, but it’s hard to see when the card was photographed.

The card base is in Basic Gray and I layered it with a panel of DSP from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, it’s just so stunning! Beautiful photographic images and visual textures which works well when creating your projects.

I recently received the Blossoms In Bloom Bundle, as I just couldn’t go past this stunning bundle and a saving of 10% when you buy the stamps and dies together. I’ve used Watercolor Paper to die cut out the larger dies images as well as the smaller dies too. The layered dies create depth when using different types of colour for your projects. I’ve used Rococo Rose Ink for a deeper colour and I lightly added Blushing Bride Ink for the top layer. Seaside Spray Ink was used for the leaves and single flower.

The sentiment is from the Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set, I’ve used White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set using my Heat Tool. The Basic Gray Cardstock strip is layered over a strip of Whisper White Cardstock to make the greeting pop!

Please visit Catherine’s blog to see her creation and all the links are there as well, so you’ll be able to see everyone’s creations for this week’s showcase.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope you’ve enjoyed how I’ve used Basic Gray. Make sure you come back next week to see Bermuda Bay in our projects.
