Artisan Design Team - Love for You Bundle

 Hello and welcome,

My name is Vicki Boucher and I'm from Melbourne, Australia. I'm so happy to be sharing with you today my first two projects using the Love for You Bundle, and Country Gingham Designer Series Paper turning them into two cards. It's always exciting to receive new Stampin' Up! products and I can't for you to see what I've been creating.

The Artisan Design Team are featuring the Love for You Bundle and Country Gingham DSP on Stampin' Up! Facebook and Instagram page where you'll sure to be inspired by everyone's creations, I'll add the link at the end of my blog.

Love for You bundle (160406)

The Love for You bundle (160406) (10% bundle savings) is located on page 11 of the Stampin' Up! January - April 2023 Mini Catalogue. The bundle includes the following items. Love for You stamp set (160398), and Love for You Dies (160403). This bundle is perfect for a variety of different occasions such as anniversaries, love, friendship, thanks and many more.

Country Gingham 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (160388)

The Country Gingham 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper comes in 48 sheets, 8 each of 6 double-sided designs in Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet. I love this DSP anything in gingham makes me happy.

For You Card

For my first card I created lots of layers using the Country Gingham DSP and stamped images from the Love for You stamp set.  The colours I've used are Sweet Sorbet, Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake.

The first strip of pink hearts I stamped off first on a scrap piece of paper before applying to Basic White Cardstock. I used both heart stamps in Sweet Sorbet ink, and I lightly covered the strip in Sweet Sorbet with the Blending Brush.

I also stamped the flowers and leaves on a strip of Basic White Cardstock. Then I lightly covered the strip using Balmy Blue ink with the Blending Brush.

The Country Gingham DSP has been cut into thin strips, then torn down on one side and layered over each strip. This shows off the beautiful paper and a Shabby Chic look to the card.

I love the layered look of the Dies for the sentiment, it really makes it pop! I used Sweet Sorbet and Basic White Cardstock for the layers. A great tip for when you use the thin Dies is to use Adhesive Sheets by placing the adhesive onto the back of the cardstock, I find this so much easier, when it comes to adhering your detailed die-cut pieces together.

To finish off the card I added a few more flowers amongst the sentiment, Petal Pink embellishments and Sweet Sorbet Baker's Twine.

So Much Love Card

For my second card I again used the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper this time I just used a strip each of Balmy Blue and Sweet Sorbet gingham paper. I mixed it up with Basic White Cardstock and Kraft paper.

I stamped the hearts using Sweet Sorbet ink onto the Kraft paper and added a little Crumb Cake ink to the edges with the Blending Brush. To create a distressed look to the paper, I used the blade of the Paper Snips and ran it along the edge of the Kraft paper.

The flowers are stamped in Sweet Sorbet, Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake ink for the leaves. I added a few tiny dots using Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker to each the center of the flowers.

I added a few of the Balmy Blue Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card and Sweet Sorbet Baker's Twine.

Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI135

 Hello and welcome,

My name is Vicki Boucher, and I am from Melbourne, Australia. I'm a little late but I finally had some time to create a card for the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI135 this photo was chosen by Lou Kitzelman. I love the fresh summary colours.

The chosen colour combination for #CI135 is Daffodil Delight, Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay. As well as the chosen colours you may also like to add Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and metallics to your project. We also allow 'Ivory' and 'Bronze' in the Stampin' Blends. If you don't have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: So Saffron instead of Daffodil Delight .... you get the drift).

The challenge will run for almost 4 weeks (which started back on 14th December 2022) until 7pm (AEST) on Monday 9th January 2023 details to follow at the end of my blog.

Tonight's card for the challenge I have used brand new products from the new Mini Catalogue for January to April 2023. It's called Love for You bundle (160406) which includes the stamp set and coordinating Dies. You will be able to purchase this bundle from my online store as of tomorrow the 5th of January 2023.

To create the card, I used a sheet of Basic White Cardstock and stamped the panel using the images from the Love for You Stamp Set. I started with the larger flower in Calypso Coral, then the smaller flower in Pale Papaya and Daffodil Delight ink. The leaves are in Coastal Cabana and so are the tiny hearts. The center pieces are stamped in Bermuda Bay ink, and I used the Bermuda Bay Marker fine point tip by adding tiny dots to the center of the flowers.

For the sentiment I used a Sponge Dauber with Bermuda Bay ink and applied the ink to the stamps which gives a softer look. I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White Cardstock and die-cut out the images. The card base is Coastal Cabana Cardstock.
