Artisan Design Team - Love for You Bundle

 Hello and welcome,

My name is Vicki Boucher and I'm from Melbourne, Australia. I'm so happy to be sharing with you today my first two projects using the Love for You Bundle, and Country Gingham Designer Series Paper turning them into two cards. It's always exciting to receive new Stampin' Up! products and I can't for you to see what I've been creating.

The Artisan Design Team are featuring the Love for You Bundle and Country Gingham DSP on Stampin' Up! Facebook and Instagram page where you'll sure to be inspired by everyone's creations, I'll add the link at the end of my blog.

Love for You bundle (160406)

The Love for You bundle (160406) (10% bundle savings) is located on page 11 of the Stampin' Up! January - April 2023 Mini Catalogue. The bundle includes the following items. Love for You stamp set (160398), and Love for You Dies (160403). This bundle is perfect for a variety of different occasions such as anniversaries, love, friendship, thanks and many more.

Country Gingham 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (160388)

The Country Gingham 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper comes in 48 sheets, 8 each of 6 double-sided designs in Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet. I love this DSP anything in gingham makes me happy.

For You Card

For my first card I created lots of layers using the Country Gingham DSP and stamped images from the Love for You stamp set.  The colours I've used are Sweet Sorbet, Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake.

The first strip of pink hearts I stamped off first on a scrap piece of paper before applying to Basic White Cardstock. I used both heart stamps in Sweet Sorbet ink, and I lightly covered the strip in Sweet Sorbet with the Blending Brush.

I also stamped the flowers and leaves on a strip of Basic White Cardstock. Then I lightly covered the strip using Balmy Blue ink with the Blending Brush.

The Country Gingham DSP has been cut into thin strips, then torn down on one side and layered over each strip. This shows off the beautiful paper and a Shabby Chic look to the card.

I love the layered look of the Dies for the sentiment, it really makes it pop! I used Sweet Sorbet and Basic White Cardstock for the layers. A great tip for when you use the thin Dies is to use Adhesive Sheets by placing the adhesive onto the back of the cardstock, I find this so much easier, when it comes to adhering your detailed die-cut pieces together.

To finish off the card I added a few more flowers amongst the sentiment, Petal Pink embellishments and Sweet Sorbet Baker's Twine.

So Much Love Card

For my second card I again used the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper this time I just used a strip each of Balmy Blue and Sweet Sorbet gingham paper. I mixed it up with Basic White Cardstock and Kraft paper.

I stamped the hearts using Sweet Sorbet ink onto the Kraft paper and added a little Crumb Cake ink to the edges with the Blending Brush. To create a distressed look to the paper, I used the blade of the Paper Snips and ran it along the edge of the Kraft paper.

The flowers are stamped in Sweet Sorbet, Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake ink for the leaves. I added a few tiny dots using Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker to each the center of the flowers.

I added a few of the Balmy Blue Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card and Sweet Sorbet Baker's Twine.

Art With Heart Team Creative Showcase February - Love and Valentine's Day

Hello and welcome,

I'm so excited to share with you two projects I have created for the latest Art With Heart Team Creative Showcase hosted by Rachel Woollard, I'll post the link to her page at the end of my blog.

We are sharing our creativity with the theme Love and Valentine's Day. I can smell Love is in the air with Valentine's Day coming up on the 14th February and I thought I would make something special for my hubby.

I've made a card and a 3D project using the Always in My Heart Bundle and the Gilded Leafing Embellishment which you can find in the latest Stampin' Up! January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue. Oh and also the Blender Brushes, I just love them so much!

My favourite colour at the moment would have to be Pacific Point, I just love the richness of this colour I've combine it with Night of Navy Ink and the Gilded Leafing.

To create the card I've started with a panel of Whisper/Basic White Cardstock to create the Ombre effect I've used the Blender Brush and Pacific Point Ink using circler motions across the panel adding more ink as I go. I wanted a deeper blue at the bottom so I added Night of Navy Ink.

For the detailed floral Ombre heart I've used Pacific Point Ink with the Blender Brush and applied ink onto a piece of Whisper/Basic White Cardstock leaving some white on the outer edge of the Cardstock. This also applies to heart for the 3D Mini Gold Pizza Box.

For the "LOVE" & "YOU" I've created the Ombre look by using Whisper White Cardstock, Pacific Point Ink, Blender Brushes, the Playful Alphabet Dies for the letters "LOVE" & "YOU" and Foam Adhesive Sheets.

I wanted to add the Gilded Leafing to my project gold and blue is such a lovely combination. Gilded Leafing is the same as the powder embossing still using Versamark Ink which I've added the Ink with a Sponge Dauber and also with the edge of the Versamark Ink Pad to the Cardstock. Add the Heat & Stick Powder, heat set with the Heat Tool and then apply the Gilded Leafing. I remove any excess of gold with a Stamping Sponge.

The Gold Mini Pizza Box is the same as the card, except for the Fine Art Gold Ribbon which is tied around the gold box.

Well that's it for my blog, now it's time to visit Rachel Woollard and all the other participants from the Art With Heart Team. I'm so looking forward to seeing their beautiful projects.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. You can purchase any of the above mentioned products by visiting my online store here or send me a direct message.

#TGIFC249 Holiday Challenge - Valentines's Day Challenge

Hello and welcome,

Today I’ve entered into the #TGIFC249 Valentine’s Day Challenge using the Heartfelt Bundle which has the gorgeous Heartfelt Stamp Set and Heart Punch Pack. They are both available in the Stampin’ Up! 2020 Mini Catalogue and you can save 10% when purchased together.

I’ve used the Rococo Rose gingham DSP and coordinate with the stitched look throughout the card. Rococo Rose is such a beautiful colour and using Whisper White to highlight the stamped images.

The images of the three larger Hearts, arrow, smaller stitched hearts are layered on top of the Rococo Rose gingham DSP and Whisper White Cardstock. Which has been die cut out using the Stitched Rectangles.
