Stampin' Up! Week 54 Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop Seaside Spray

Hello and welcome back to my blog with the lovely ladies from Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop.

Today is week 54 and we are playing along with one of the new In-Colours called Seaside Spray for 2019-2021.

This new colour is available to purchase in Ink, Cardstock, Ribbon, DSP and much more. I’ve created a card and a Mini Shipping Box this week using the new In-colour.

I wanted to use the Daisy Lane Bundle for my card. The Bundle comes with the sweetest Medium Daisy Punch and I just love too layer it up with the larger Daisy Punch.

I’ve punched it out twice with both Daisy Punches and I used the Sponge Dauber in Seaside Spray for the centre of the flower and Whisper White Ink for the ends. I just had to add some sparkle so I used Wink Of Stella and placed a Clear Facetted Gem for the centre. This gave the Daisy a frosted look.

Have you seen the beautiful Stitched Lace Die? It’s just stunning and I wanted to add a layer of lace to my card.

To finish off the card I added the Seaside spray gingham DSP, I embossed the sentiment in white on a thin piece of Seaside Spray Cardstock and I wrapped the Silver Metallic Thread around the Cardstock.

I love the Daisy Punch so much I wanted to create something else with Seaside Spray. The cute Mini Shipping Boxes was something I thought would complement with the new In- colour. The box would make a lovely gift for that someone special.

I punched out six of the Medium Daisies and two of the larger Daisies in Whisper White Cardstock. I sponged the Daisies in Seaside Spray Ink with the Sponged Dauber and placed a Clear Facetted Gem in the centre of each Daisy.

I die cut out a piece of Seaside Spray Cardstock with the Stitched Lace Die 10cm x 5.5cm and placed it on the Mini Shipping Box. I used the Scalloped Linen Ribbon, wrapped it around the box and tied it at the top.

To finish off I placed the three Daisies on the box. I think the colours go so nicely together and I’m really happy how it’s turned out.
