Creation Station May Blog Hop - What do you Sea

 Hello and welcome,

Today's projects for May 2021 Creation Station blog hop is all about "What do you Sea" using Stampin' Up! products. There are a number of different bundles/stamp sets in both the Mini and Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogues to create for our projects.

I wonder what the others from the team will be using? If you've started with me make sure you complete the hop by visiting Yvonne Spikmans-Van Bruggen blog, she always makes amazing projects. I'm so looking forward to seeing all the other design Team Members projects, so make sure you click on the next button at the bottom of my blog.

For my project I've used the Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set in muted tones and a new technique which I just discovered. I've cased a card on page 26 from the new Stampin' Up! 2021 - 2022 Annual Catalogue.

To create the technique I used the Grid Paper, tear it in half and placed over the panel of Basic White Cardstock with some Washi Tape. First I stamped images starting with the largest image in Night of Navy and then in Crumb Cake Ink, I finished it off by splattering Crumb Cake Ink using the Stampin' Blend.

To finish off the masking technique I lightly coloured in using Misty Moonlight and Sahara Sand Ink with the Blending Brush. I then pulled off the Grid Paper and it was so cool to see what I had created. I definitely love this look!

I added a few of the Stamped images coloured them in with either the Blending Brush or Stampin' Blends, layered them over the panels of Cardstock and In Good Taste DSP.

To finish the card off I've embossed the sentiment using Versmark Ink, sprinkled White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. Adding Linen Thread to the card by weaving it under the sentiment and tying into a bow.

Now it's time to visit the lovely Kathy Brown Kartak to see her amazing creations and visit her blog. I'm looking forward to reading all about her project about the sea! I'm sure you will too.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. If you live in Australia and would like the new Annual Catalogue please send me a message. You can purchase any of the above mentioned products by visiting my online store here or send me a direct message.

Happy crafting
