Stampin' Up! have the new August - December 2021 Stampin' Up Mini Catalogue which is coming out very soon for our customers. As demonstrators we are lucky receive the catalogue and also pre-purchase products from the Mini Catalogue and there's more exciting news! Stampin' Up! have Sale-A-Bration from 3 August - 30 September 2021 or unless sold out earlier. Choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration product with every $90 AUD or $180 AUD you spend (before shipping and handling). I always love free Stampin' Up! products. It's also a good time to stock up on your crafting supplies.
The Christmas card I've created tonight is a mixture of bundles, special papers and Saleabration. Again I've used Fresh Freesia as my main colour for the project, I just love this colour and it's a little bit different to the traditional Christmas colours.
I started with the FREE Saleabration Penguin Playmates 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (this paper is so cute) for my project and decided on the Fresh Freesia snowflake DSP as my base panel. Layered on top of Fresh Freesia Cardstock as the card base.
I wanted to try out the Snowy White 12" x 12" Velvet Sheets which is flocked velvet and die-cut/dry emboss with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder. I was going to go with white but I changed my mind and coloured it with Fresh Freesia Ink and with the Blending Brush.
The greeting is from the Merriest Moments Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and die-cut out with the stitched die.
The cute penguin is from the Penguin Place Bundle which comes with the Penguin Builder Punch. The punch also coordinates with the FREE Penguin Playmates 12 x 12 DSP which makes creating cards so much easier.
I've stamped the penguin in Memento Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, for the beak Fresh Freesia Ink and for the flippers Fresh Freesia Cardstock. There are lots of other images from the stamp set, I've stamped the gift packages in Fresh Freesia and fussy cut them out.
To finish off the card I've used the mirrored Silver Foil 12" x 12" and Basic White Cardstock for the snowflakes from the So Many Snow Flakes Dies. I added a little of Clear Wink of Stella to the card, but just a word of warning the glitter doesn't dry on the Snowy Velvet Sheets straight away!
I hope I've inspired you to start creating your own Christmas projects using paper craft. Stampin' Up! have so many beautiful products and I just love how it all coordinates.
