Week 4 Heart of Christmas Blog Hop

  Hello and welcome

I'll be sharing with you a sneak peek of new products from the Stampin' Up! Mini August - December 2021 Catalogue. I always love to create cards and paper craft for Christmas and I'm so in love with the new mini catalogue. Stampin' Up! sure know how to give us a variety of products to suit everyone.

Tonight's Art With Heart blog hop is hosted by Tina Gillespie with a selection of members from the Art With Heart Team who will be joining in. I'm looking forward to seeing their beautiful projects using Stampin' Up! products.

Stampin' Up! have the new August - December 2021 Stampin' Up Mini Catalogue which is coming out very soon for our customers. As demonstrators we are lucky receive the catalogue and also pre-purchase products from the Mini Catalogue and there's more exciting news! Stampin' Up! have Sale-A-Bration from 3 August - 30 September 2021 or unless sold out earlier. Choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration product with every $90 AUD or $180 AUD you spend (before shipping and handling). I always love free Stampin' Up! products. It's also a good time to stock up on your crafting supplies.

The Christmas card I've created for tonight's blog hop is using the Merriest Moments Bundle and Hybrid Embossing Folder. Last week I created a landscape orientation card using this bundle, so for this week I wanted to show it in a portrait style card. Portrait cards are my usual style when it comes to card making.

I've used my Blending Brushes to create a softer pink by adding Polished Pink Ink directly onto the image of the stamp with the brush and then stamp the image onto the cardstock.

Using Basic White Cardstock for the large detail die from the Merriest Frames Dies and this gives you more detail when embossed using the Hybrid Embossing Folder. I've added Mint Macaron Ink for a softer green and it goes nicely with Polished Pink.

The greeting is from the Merriest Moments Stamp Set, stamped in Polished Pink onto Basic White Cardstock which was lightly sponged with Polished Pink Ink.

The card base is Mossy Meadow Cardstock layered with a panel of Polished Pink Cardstock and on top of that is a panel of Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper. I've used the pretty Mossy Meadow and Polished Pink holly leaf and berries DSP. I really love this combination of green and pink together.

I hope I've inspired you to start creating your own Christmas projects using paper craft. Stampin' Up! have so many beautiful products and I just love how it all coordinates.

Well that's it for me and I'm so excited to see everyone's Christmas projects so make sure you hope around the blog hop. Next up is Diane Furniss just click on the next button below.

  4. The hybrid embossing folder is so versatile and you have certainly showcased this Vicki. I love the Polished Pink and Mossy Meadow colours together too. I love how you used your blending brushes to add ink and reduce the brightness of the poinsettias.
