Week 10 Art With Heart Colour Creations Weekly Showcase Cinnamon Cider

Hello and welcome to Week 10 with the Art With Heart Colour Creations Weekly Showcase. Which the lovely Catherine Proctor is running our weekly blog and with a selection of other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from the Art With Heart Team.

This week we are featuring Cinnamon Cider in our projects. Cinnamon Cider is one of the new In Colors for 2020 - 2022 and this gorgeous color comes in a range of Stampin' Up! products such as the Classic Stampin' Pad, Cardstock, Stampin' Blends, DSP and more.

Cinnamon Cider

Today's card I've used a range of Stampin' Up! products both from the Annual Catalogue and the Mini 2020 Catalogue. I decided to use Cinnamon Cider with Basic Black, Crumb Cake and a pop of  Real Red for Father's Day. I wanted to get ahead of things for Father's Day, so I made a card and gift tag.

For the card I've started with the card base in Cinnamon Cider Cardstock, layered with a panel of Basic Black and embossed Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder in Crumb Cake with sponged Crumb Cake Ink.

When using new stamp sets, I like to try out different colors to what I see in the Catalogue, for the Forever Fern Stamp Set I've stamped the images using Cinnamon Cider Ink onto Crumb Cake Cardstock and Memento Black Ink onto Cinnamon Cider Cardstock. I really love this combination of colours together.

Beautiful Autumn Bundle

The Beautiful Autumn Bundle is on page 45 of the Mini Catalogue the Stamp Set and Autumn Punch Pack can be purchase together and you save 10%. There are three shapes: acorn, maple leaf and oak leaf in the size at 3/4" and they are so cute! I've used Real Red Ink & Cardstock and Cinnamon Cider Ink & Cardstock for the images.

Before adding all of the elements, I've embossed the panel of Basic Black Cardstock with the Subtle Embossing Folder and wrapped Linen Thread around the card. The Cinnamon Cider Twill Ribbon adds another dimension and texture.

The stamped image of the sentiment is from the Best Year Stamp Set page 133 of the Annual Catalogue, this is a very handy stamp set as there are so many different greetings for all occasions and perfect for Father's Day.

Acorn Trinkets

The cute little Acorn Trinkets are so sweet, they are metal with a antique copper finish and perfect with Cinnamon Cider.

As I had extra stamped images left over, I decided to create a gift tag and it coordinates well with the card. Using Cinnamon Cider, Crumb Cake and Basic Black for the tag.

As the sentiment is too wide I snipped Day! off and placed it underneath. I've used the Delightful Tag Topper Punch, but you could the other Stampin' Up! Tag Punch or Dies for a gift tag.
