Heart of Christmas 2020 - October by the Art With Heart Team Australia

Hello and welcome,

Tonight the Art With Heart Team will be showcasing their Christmas projects with you for the month of October. The lovely Judy May is the host for our monthly hop, so make sure you click on her name at the end of this blog.

For my project I've created a slimline card they are on trend at the moment and I just had to try it for my self. I finally used the Gnome for the Holidays Stamp Set I've had this set for a while now and I couldn't wait to create something with this set. You can find this stamp set on page 23 of the Stampin' Up! August - December 2020 Mini Catalogue. I love the Gnomes and colouring them in was fun too!

I cased Artisan designer Stesha Bloodhart's slimline Gnome card, she creates amazing cards and I really liked how she used the Stampin' Blends when colouring in the Gnomes.

The colours in the Snowflake Splendor DSP was perfect for my Christmas card and it's currently on sale with 15% off for the month of October 2020. To find out more you can contact me or visit my online store.

Snowflake Splendor DSP

Ink up the Gnomes in Memento Ink onto Whisper White cardstock, colour in with the Stampin' Blends using the following colours light & dark Balmy Blue, Purple Posy, Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Smoky Slate and the Color Lifter.

To make the slimline card start with Thick Whisper White Cardstock, cut 20cm x 22cm score at 10cm. I've used the Snow Flake Splendor DSP the colours are so beautiful and cool. The snowflake DSP cut at 9.5cm x 21cm sets the seen for the background.

Next I used Whisper White Cardstock, 9cm x 20.5cm. Using the Layering Circles Dies, die cut three circles all the same size. I added a circle frame for each of the die cut circles and coloured them in with the Stampin' Blends.

Adding soft snow for each of the Gnomes to stand on, I've used Whisper White Cardstock and the Pine Woods Dies. Adding sponging to the edge with the Sponge Dauber and Balmy Blue Ink.

I also added a few different elements to the card like the inked up tree from the Pine Wood Dies and the softly sponged Jingle Bell from the Sounds of the Season Dies. To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy onto a strip of Whisper White Cardstock and added a snowflake from the So Many Snowflakes Dies.

Now it's time to visit Judy May's blog and the rest of the participants for this month's Heart of Christmas Showcase.

Need a catalogue? Please send me a message here or visit my online store here to purchase any of the above products that I've used in today's project

Happy crafting
