Week 5 Heart of Christmas Blog Hop

Hello and welcome

Tomorrow is the day! The brand new Stampin' Up! Mini August - December 2021 Catalogue and Saleabration Catalogue goes live. I always love to create cards and paper craft for Christmas and I'm so in love with the new mini catalogue. Stampin' Up! sure know how to give us a variety of products to suit everyone.

Tonight's Art With Heart blog hop is hosted by Rachel Woollard with a selection of members from the Art With Heart Team who will be joining in. I'm looking forward to seeing their beautiful projects using Stampin' Up! products.

I've created a lovely bundle which all goes nicely together using the Peaceful Place 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper which comes in Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Black and Silver. There are 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 double-sided designs. This paper is stunning! I just love the designs and there's a touch of silver throughout the DSP.

The Designer Series Paper comes in the Peaceful Place Suite which I'm yet to purchase all of the products in this suite. There's the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set & Cabin Dies, I do have the Snowy White Velvet Sheets and that's beautiful. The Timber 3D Embossing Folder, Subtle Shimmer Sequins and the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon which I also do have. The items I don't have are sure on my wish list!

Mini Paper Pumpkin 3D Box

The white Paper Pumpkin Box can be put together quickly, needs no adhesive and is food safe. I've created a belly band using the Peaceful Place DSP.

Using the Stitched Rectangles Dies I've die-cut out using the Silver Foil Specialty Paper and a smaller die for the Peaceful Place DSP. Then layering them on top of one another.

I finally purchased the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon and I wish I had purchased it a long time ago. It's stunning to work with and I've created a bow for on top of the box using lots of Glue Dots.

The greeting is from Holly Jolly Wishes Stamp Set which has lots of different sentiments for Christmas. I've heat embossed the greeting using Versamark Ink onto Basic Black Cardstock, White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. Then I've die-cut using the stitched die from Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I also added a few silver foil snowflakes from the So Many Snowflakes Dies.

Card

One of  the sheets from Peaceful Place DSP comes in a 6 x 6 quadrant to be cut into 4 and used as a background for your paper crafting.

I've layered one of the backgrounds to Basic Black card base and added the sentiment using Black Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. A very simple but elegant card created in no time.

Gift Tags

I've created two gift tags using the Peaceful Place DSP in shades of Smoky Slate and Basic Gray. Using the Tailor Made Tags Dies and die-cut the DSP out. I've layered the DSP onto either Basic White or Basic Black Cardstock which has also been die-cut out with the Tag Dies.

Using White Glittered Ribbon and White Baker's Twine for one of the tags and the other is White Faux Linen Ribbon with White Baker's Twine. The white heat embossed Sentiment is from Holly Jolly Wishes Stamp Set.

I hope I've inspired you to start creating your own Christmas projects using paper craft. Stampin' Up! have so many beautiful products and I just love how it all coordinates.

Week 4 Heart of Christmas Blog Hop

  Hello and welcome

I'll be sharing with you a sneak peek of new products from the Stampin' Up! Mini August - December 2021 Catalogue. I always love to create cards and paper craft for Christmas and I'm so in love with the new mini catalogue. Stampin' Up! sure know how to give us a variety of products to suit everyone.

Tonight's Art With Heart blog hop is hosted by Tina Gillespie with a selection of members from the Art With Heart Team who will be joining in. I'm looking forward to seeing their beautiful projects using Stampin' Up! products.

Stampin' Up! have the new August - December 2021 Stampin' Up Mini Catalogue which is coming out very soon for our customers. As demonstrators we are lucky receive the catalogue and also pre-purchase products from the Mini Catalogue and there's more exciting news! Stampin' Up! have Sale-A-Bration from 3 August - 30 September 2021 or unless sold out earlier. Choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration product with every $90 AUD or $180 AUD you spend (before shipping and handling). I always love free Stampin' Up! products. It's also a good time to stock up on your crafting supplies.

The Christmas card I've created for tonight's blog hop is using the Merriest Moments Bundle and Hybrid Embossing Folder. Last week I created a landscape orientation card using this bundle, so for this week I wanted to show it in a portrait style card. Portrait cards are my usual style when it comes to card making.

I've used my Blending Brushes to create a softer pink by adding Polished Pink Ink directly onto the image of the stamp with the brush and then stamp the image onto the cardstock.

Using Basic White Cardstock for the large detail die from the Merriest Frames Dies and this gives you more detail when embossed using the Hybrid Embossing Folder. I've added Mint Macaron Ink for a softer green and it goes nicely with Polished Pink.

The greeting is from the Merriest Moments Stamp Set, stamped in Polished Pink onto Basic White Cardstock which was lightly sponged with Polished Pink Ink.

The card base is Mossy Meadow Cardstock layered with a panel of Polished Pink Cardstock and on top of that is a panel of Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper. I've used the pretty Mossy Meadow and Polished Pink holly leaf and berries DSP. I really love this combination of green and pink together.

I hope I've inspired you to start creating your own Christmas projects using paper craft. Stampin' Up! have so many beautiful products and I just love how it all coordinates.

Heart of Christmas Blog Hop

 Hello and welcome,

I'm so happy my Stampin' Up! box of Christmas goodies arrived at my door step and now I can share with you one of the bundles for our second week of Heart of Christmas blog hop. This week is hosted by the lovely Tina Gillespie from the Art With Heart Team.

Stampin' Up! have the new July - December 2021 Stampin' Up Mini Catalogue which is coming out very soon for our customers. As demonstrators we are lucky receive the catalogue and also pre-purchase products from the Mini Catalogue and there's more exciting news! Stampin' Up! have Sale-A-Bration for 3 August - 30 September 2021 or unless sold out earlier. Choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration product with every $90 AUD or $180 AUD you spend (before shipping and handling). I always love free Stampin' Up! products.

I decided to go with non-traditional colours and paper for my handmade Christmas card. I've used the new Frosted Gingerbread bundle which comes with coordinating Gingerbread Dies. This bundle also comes in the Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite there are so many beautiful products in this Suite and I can't wait to play with more of it.

I've created an emboss resist technique by stamping the Christmas bauble image a number of times in Versamark Ink onto Basic White panel, adding White Stampin' Emboss Powder remove excess and heat with the Heat Tool. Then with the Blending Brush and Fresh Freesia Ink apply lightly to the embossed Christmas baubles.

Using a strip of Fresh Freesia Designer Series Paper I wanted to try the scrunching, folding, pleating technique which I discovered from Lou Kitzelman on her Instagram for her non-traditional Christmas card. I like how it gives you more dimension to the card and I always love to add more layers.

I added a strip of  Fresh Freesia gingham paper which is from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper which is currently on sale until 2nd August 2021 with 15% discount. There are a total of 9 Designer Series Paper on sale, more details below and on my online store.

The Christmas die-cut images from the Gingerbread Dies are cut out using Basic White and Fresh Freesia Cardstock. I love the white swirls against Fresh Freesia. I've wrapped around White Baker's Twine and added a bow to the card. To finish off the greeting fits nicely inside the white image of the Christmas bauble.

I hope I've inspired you to start creating your own Christmas projects using paper craft. Stampin' Up! have so many beautiful products and I just love how it all coordinates.

Well that's it for me and I'm so excited to see everyone's Christmas projects so make sure you hope around the blog hop. Next up is Tina Gillespie just click on the next button below.

Heart of Christmas Blog Hop 2021

 Hello and welcome,

I'm so excited to be sharing with you my first Christmas projects for 2021 tonight with the Art With Heart Team blog hop hosted by Sharon Davern. We've started a little bit earlier this year but you can never have too many beautiful creations for Christmas.

I always love free Stampin' Up! products.

As I wait for my delivery to arrive in the post I still have some of the stamp sets, punch and Designer Series Paper to create a card and two gift tags.

This card was CASED by two Stampin' Up! demonstrators our very our Art With Heart Team member Judy May and another amazing demonstrator Stesha Bloodhart who always creates amazing projects.

I went with the traditional colours of Real Red, Crumb Cake and Basic White for my projects using the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and coordinating Punch. I just love the detail of the tree image stamped in Real Red onto Basic White Cardstock and White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Real Red Cardstock.

The Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper carried over into the Mini Catalogue and was perfect for my card. I love the red and white stripes.

It's so cold here in Melbourne lately, but it has never snowed where I live. I wanted a snowy look for my card so I used the tiny snow flakes stamp from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set. They are stamped in Versamark Ink onto Crumb Cake Cardstock, sprinkled with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. One day I would so love to have a white Christmas. It's on the list of things to do!

To finish off the card I've stamped the sentiment in Real Red Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and die-cut out using the Tailor Made Tags Dies. The Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and two of the Real Red Gems From My Heart Faceted Gems was the perfect addition to the Christmas Card.

As I always like to stamp and create a few extra pieces for my projects, I thought I would start on my gift tags for Christmas. Using the Tailor Made Tags Dies for the base and sentiment.

I like how they come in all sizes and they are stitched as well. They didn't take too long to create and are perfect for those Christmas gifts under the Christmas tree.

I hope I've inspired you to start creating your own Christmas projects using paper craft. Stampin' Up! have so many beautiful products and I just love how it all coordinates.

Well that's it for me and I'm so excited to see everyone's Christmas projects so make sure you hope around the blog hop. Next up is Andrea Sargent just click on the next button below.
