Artisan Design Team - Crafting With You

 Hello and welcome,

My name is Vicki Boucher and I'm from Melbourne, Australia. Today, I'll be sharing with you two projects I created for Stampin' Up! earlier this month for my Monthly Artisan Assignment using the Crafting With You bundle which was shared on Stampin' Up! socials. The design team did such an amazing job on their projects so make sure you check out their creations. I'll have the link at the bottom on my blog.

Crafting With You bundle (161226)

The Crafting With You bundle (161226) is in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue 2023-24 and is on page 91 of the catalogue. This is a gorgeous bundle to create with and there are so many different stamp images and tools to use for your paper craft. I just love it so much! It's a Million Sales Achiever stamp set by Irene Wendlandt.

You Inspire Me Card

I wanted to create a shabby chic card using the Glorius Gingham 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (163170) in Berry Burst and Bright & Beautiful 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (161449) in Berry Burst and Bubble Bath.

To do this I ripped up strips of designer series paper and layered them over a panel in Basic White Cardstock. Some of the strips have been stamped using images from the stamp set.

Then I used my sewing machine and stitched a boarder around the edges of the layered designer series paper. I think I need to do more stitching with my paper craft. It just gives you a shabby look!

There are so many detailed tools from the Crafting with You Dies and one of my favourites is the embroidery hoop die-cut in Crumb Cake Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on the center part of the hoop and added different elements such as the stamped image of the flower, cute buttons and heart.

The spools of thread are just adorable I've die-cut the spool in Crumb Cake Cardstock and added thread in Bubble Bath, Berry Burst and Old Olive Cardstock. I layered the Burlap Ribbon under the embroidery hoop.

This card was for my mum for Mother's Day, she is a crafter and just loves to sew. I wanted to use the Alphabet A La Mode Dies (160750) and create the word MUM using the letters in Basic White Cardstock. To make them pop I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets (152815).

With Love Card

For my second card I started off with the background panel using Crumb Cake Cardstock, stamped the flower image in Crumb Cake ink around the edges of the panel and add Crumb Cake ink to the edges with a Blending Brush. I also destressed the panel by running the Paper Snips blade along the edges and curl the corners by using the Bone Folder.

To create the patchwork quilt I used coloured cardstock in Crumb Cake, Berry Burst, Pretty Peacock, Glorious Gingham 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and die-cut out nine squares with the small square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies (159183).

The other elements I added to the card are the scissors, buttons, hearts and spools of cotton which can all be achieved by using the images from the Crafting With You Dies.

I stamped the balls of wool in Pretty Peacock onto Pretty Peacock Cardstock and placed it between two baskets die-cut in Crumb Cake Cardstock with a little sponging using a Sponge Dauber to add depth.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love to hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below.
