Artisan Design Team - Creative Project

Hello! My name is Vicki Boucher, and I am from Melbourne, Australia. Today I'll be sharing with you two different card ideas using the Season of Chic Stamp Set and a variety of different tools using Stampin' Up! products.

When it comes to creating my projects, I love to show a variety of different techniques and add lots of layers. Playing with different colour palettes is always fun! I wanted to show you by using a stamp set you already have and turn it into new projects by using some of the new Stampin' Up! colours and returning colours.

I've added the list of products at the bottom of my blog they are available on my online store.

Happy Birthday 50th Card

To create my first card, I stamped the images in VersaMark onto a panel of Basic White Cardstock added White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat embossed with the Heat Tool. Then I added colour with the Blending Brush using Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight, Copper Clay and Pecan Pie to the panel.

To create a white, frosted look for your projects, apply VersaMark ink to the edges of the cardstock; then, dip the cardstock into white Stampin’ Emboss Powder and brush off the excess with a brush. Heat set the ink using the Heat Tool.

The images from the Chic Dies have been die-cut with the different tools to create a leafy background for my card, I added colour to the images with the Blending Brush or Sponge Dauber for more detail. I just love the Nested Essentials Dies they form a basic shape to your projects.

I always love trying to unravel trim or ribbon into tiny strands for my projects. Here I used Boho Blue and Copper Clay 2023–2025 In Color Jute Trim and placed them under the die-cut Nested Essentials label.

I've used Boho Blue for the card base, the numbers from Alphabet à La Mode Dies and heat embossed the sentiment onto Boho Blue cardstock and die-cut using the label die from Something Fancy Dies.

Let's Celebrate 18th Card

This next card is for my daughter who'll be turning 18 later this year and I wanted to create a pretty card but also add some blues to balance out the tone of the pinks.

To create the background panel, I wanted to add some sparkle to my card, so to do this technique follow these steps: For a shimmery, watercolor background, add a few drops of Clear Wink of Stella and water to the Classic Stampin’ Pad’s inside cover. Then, apply glitter ink using the Water Painter’s large, flat brush tip to Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper; let the ink dry. The colours I've used are Bubble Bath and Moody Mauve.

I like to combine different elements from different stamp sets and dies for my projects, so mixing them up together is always fun. Here I've combined Sentimental Park with Season of Chic Stamp Sets together stamped the flowers in Moody Mauve and coloured them in with Bubble Bath ink.

To bring my card together I added Night of Navy by using cardstock for the card base, the numbers from the Alphabet à La Mode Dies, stamped images in Night of Navy onto the pretty label die in Basic White Cardstock and did some heat embossing on Boho Blue cardstock for the sentiment and die-cut out using the label die from Something Fancy DiesI added Boho Blue Jute Trim and tied it into a bow to finish off the card.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love to hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below.
