Hello,
Welcome to
our latest Social Stampers Blog Hop for this week we are showcasing the theme “Animals”.
I recently
received a Stampin’ Up! order and in the BBB (Big Brown Box) was the In Good
Taste Designer Series Paper, which is available for purchase as of the 3rd
June 2020. The DSP is of photographic images and visual textures which I
thought would work well with the Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set.
I love the
different coloured tones of the DSP, so I coordinate the water coloured deer
using Early Espresso, Cajuin Craze and Sahara Sand. The dear fits nicely in the
die which is from the Tasteful Labels Dies.
I’ve placed
some strips of the DSP under the deer, giving the card some different wood
textures. The panels of DSP and Early Espresso Cardstock have been curled at
the corners and I used the blade of my paper snips to ruff up the edges of the DSP. The panel of Early Espresso Cardstock is embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
The sentiment
is from the Seaside Notions Stamp Set, stamped in Early Espresso onto Crumb
Cake Cardstock.

Wow the paper has so much texture and variation. It pairs stunningly with the photographic image of the deer!!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Great job with the different layers of DSP and I love how you’ve curled the corner and roughed the edges.
ReplyDeleteWOWSERS! Vicki I LOVE this card! Oh, you have given me great inspiration! So beautiful, I love the curled edge, (so shabby chic) and the earthy colours and textures!
ReplyDeleteVicki, your card is gorgeous, I love all the textures, from the embossing to the textures on the DSP’s, just fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLove the dark moodiness that DSP adds! I can't wait to use it! Kelly x
