Week 9 Art With Heart Colour Creations Weekly Showcase Cherry Cobbler

Hello and welcome to Week 9 with the Art With Heart Colour Creations Weekly Showcase. Which the lovely Catherine Proctor is running our weekly blog and with a selection of other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from the Art With Heart Team.

Cherry Cobbler

This week we are featuring Cherry Cobbler in our projects. Cherry Cobbler is from the Regals Colour Collection and comes in a range of Stampin' Up! products such as the Classic Stampin' Pad, Cardstock, Stampin' Blends, DSP and more.

Today's card, I've used the Prized Peony Bundle which is available from the Annual 2020 - 2021 Stampin' Up! Catalogue.

Prized Peony Bundle

I wanted the Peony to be the main feature showcasing Cherry Cobbler and also incorporating a vintage look for my card.

I've coloured in the image using the Stampin' Blends in Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive for the Peony. I've also used the Color Lifter which blends in the light and dark of the two Cherry Cobbler colours.

With the panel of Whisper White Cardstock, I've sponged Gray Granite Ink in a circle motion using a Sponge Dauber. I love this look and it gives a different look rather than just adding the Peony onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I've embossed the panel with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

The next layer I've created my own DSP by using the smaller Peony stamp and stamped it in Gray Granite Ink onto the Cardstock. The panel is then embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, sponged Gray Granite Ink around the edges and run my paper snips along the Cardstock.

To finish, I've used the script stamp from the Very Versailles Stamp Set, stamped it in Gray Granite Ink onto the card base in Gray Granite.

Please visit Catherine's Blog to see her creation and all the links are there as well, so you’ll be able to see everyone’s creations for this week’s showcase.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope you’ve enjoyed how I’ve used Cherry Cobbler. Make sure you come back next week to see the colour Cinnamon Cider in our projects.
