Hello and welcome
Tonight I'll be sharing with you Week 1 of Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team in Australia.
Each week there will be a Colour Creations blog hop showcasing Stampin' Up! Colors with a selection of members from the Art With Heart Team who will be joining in. I'm looking forward to seeing their beautiful projects using the Stampin' Up! Colors. You'll be able to hop around by clicking on the next link at the end of my blog.
The colours for tonight are the new In Colors for 2021 to 2023 they are Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. These In Colors are available in the latest 2021 - 2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue and I've used all five colours for my handmade card.
To create my card, I've used the Blending Brushes one each for the In Colors to create the Ink Blending technique background panel. Starting with a panel of Basic White Cardstock adding Fresh Freesia then Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent and finishing off with Evening Evergreen ink.
Using the Stampin' Blends in Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya I've created a splatter effect onto the coloured panel by using the brush tip and flick it against the lid of the Blend.
The bear, fox and penguin are stamped images from the Count On Me Stamp Set which is in the Annual Catalogue on page 82 there is also a kangaroo, two koalas and a kiwi bird which I plan on creating another card soon with these images.
I've stamped the images in Jet Black Stazon Ink onto Shimmery Whisper White Cardstock and coloured them in with the Stampin' Up! Watercolour Pencils. Using Basic Gary for the bear, Early Espresso and Cajun Craze for the fox and Basic Black for the penguin. I also added Clear Wink of Stella to blend in the colours.
The cute stitched clouds and stitched heart are from the Give it a Whirl Dies. I've added ink to the clouds using the Blending Brushes with Pale Papaya and Polished Pink Ink. Plus more of Clear Wink of Stella for added sparkle. The smaller hearts are from the Floral Heart Dies they are so tiny and cute for heart rain drops, don't you think?
To finish off the card I've used the stamp set from the Sentimental Rose Card Kit, stamped in Versamark Ink onto a strip of Basic Black Cardstock, heat embossed using White Stampin' Emboss Powder and Heat Tool.
