Global Design Project #GDP297 Colour Challenge

 Hello and welcome,

I always love a colour challenge and the Global Design Project have a beautiful colour palette. The colours are Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss and Pear Pizzazz for the challenge. The design team create amazing projects so make sure you check out all of their handmade creations. I'm sure they will inspire you!

I just couldn't go past the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set and coordinating Hydrangea Dies which is in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, shades of purples for the Hydrangea was perfect.

I've created an Ombre background using the Blending Brush with Fresh Freesia Ink onto Basic White Cardstock panel and a little of Blackberry Bliss Ink at the bottom of the Cardstock. Then I applied the single Hydrangea stamp image, stamped on the panel using Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss.

Using the challenge colours for the Hydrangea starting with a scrap of Fresh Freesia Cardstock die cut out and adding ink in Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss around the edge.

The stem and leaves are in Pear Pizzazz first stamp the image onto Basic White Cardstock die cut out and I added on top Pear Pizzazz leaf and stem detailed die cut for more depth.

The sentiment is also from the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set, stamped in Blackberry Bliss and die cut out with the cute label die. I've added ink to the sentiment for an Ombre look and tied a bow in White Baker's Twine.

Using the large fancy tag die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies, die cut out in Basic White Cardstock and applied Pear Pizzazz Ink with the Blending Brush. I just love the Tag Dies there's so much detail to them plus they are all stitched around the edges.

To finish off the card I added Fresh Freesia Shimmer Vellum for the tiny Hydrangea petal dies.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below.
