Creation Station Blog Hop - Tweets & Treats

  Hello and welcome

My name is Vicki Boucher, and I am from Melbourne, Australia. This is the latest hop with the design team at Creation Station, if you have come from Martin Stone or you may have started with me. Please make sure you hop around and see everyone's amazing projects. I'll pop a link at the end of my blog to hop around....

The design team at Creation Station are presenting their projects with the theme "Tweets or Treats" anything 3D.

Today's project I've created two Christmas gift packages using the Peekaboo Treat Bags (159252) and other Stampin' Up! products which are located in either the Annual Stampin' Up 2022 - 2023 Catalogue and the Mini July - Dec 2022 Catalogue. I love the treat bags they come in Kraft and White and they are food safe. I've placed a couple of gingerbread biscuits inside them for show.

Noel Kraft Peekaboo Treat Bag

For my first treat bag I've used the natural Kraft package, using the cluster of stars stamp which is from Spruced Up Stamp Set and stamped it in Crumb Cake ink. I added different types of ribbon and baker's twine for a natural look.

My go to at the moment is the Celebration Tag Dies which I just love so much! The cute gift tag is die-cut out in Kraft Paper, then I added Soft Suede ink with a Blending Brush and I used the Celebrate with Tags Stamp Set for the To: and From: in Soft Suede ink. The stitched heart & snowflake are die-cut out using Very Vanilla Cardstock and sponged using Crumb Cake ink.

The cute natural wood elements are from the Santa Express Memories & More card pack (159595) there are a variety of different words for Christmas and other occasions, plus stars as well. I use the Fine Tip Glue Pen for these elements.

Made with Love White Peekaboo Treat Bag

Next is a traditional red and white treat bag, this could be for Christmas or any occasion. I love the sentiment from the Celebrate with Tags Stamp Set, I've heat embossed it by stamping the image in Versamark onto Real Red Cardstock, add White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. There is a label die to die-cut out the sentiment and I just used the paper snips scissors to cut out the word "with".

I used the same tag die from the Celebrations Tag Dies, die-cut out three tags one in Real Red Cardstock, Snowflake Specialty Vellum and layered over in Basic White Cardstock. The snow flake is die-cut out the same sheet of  Snowflake Specialty Vellum. The cute winter gloves are stamped in Real Red ink onto Basic White Cardstock and die-cut out. To finish off the tag I added White Glittered Organdy Ribbon and White Baker's Twine.

To add some love to the white treat bag, I used the cluster of hearts stamp and stamped the image in Real Red ink. Plus two stitched Real Red hearts.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love to hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below. Make sure you pop over to Julie Mercer Beltramo for lots of inspiration using Tweets or Treats.

Heart of Christmas Stampin' Up! - Week 4

Hello and welcome,

Tonight, I'll be blog hopping along with the ladies from Art With Heart Team and we are up to week 4. I've been wanting to join in the hop, but I've been busy and I also came back from holidays in New Zealand with the family. I'll try join in when I can, as I just love making Christmas cards and other projects.

The Heart of Christmas blog hop will be on Monday at 8pm each week until November 28th. I'm so excited to see everyone's beautiful creations, so make sure you hop around. I'll have the link at the end of my blog.

I've created two projects a slimline card and a gift tag using products from the Stampin' Up! July - December 2023 Mini Catalogue. I've used the Decorated with Happiness bundle (159711) 10% bundle savings is located on page 27 I love the hand drawn sketched style images and the variety of detailed die images for your projects. I've also used the Celebrations Tag Dies (159866) which is located on page 67 this die set comes with tags, banners, labels and other shapes. I'm really looking forward to creating with this set over the coming months.

Christmas Slimline Card

To create the slimline card I've used Evening Evergreen Cardstock cut at 21.5 x 18.2cm, score at 9.1cm. Crumb Cake Cardstock cut at 8.6 x 21.2cm. The Decorated with Happiness stamp set is a Two-Step stamp set, it allows you to layer two or more images. It's also a Distinktive stamp set which has special texture that gives added depth and dimension, creating photo-realistic images.

I've used the large pine boughs image and stamped a number of times in Evening Evergreen ink which gives you depth. I also added Evening Evergreen and Crumb Cake ink with the Blending Brush to the panel.

There are so many different dies from the Decorated Pine Dies to use, so I decided to use the the large pine boughs die and die-cut in Evening Evergreen Cardstock. The baubles and bells are die-cut out in Real Red Cardstock and Red Glimmer Paper.

To create the label, use Stylish Shapes Dies to create a smaller label for your sentiment by die-cutting the cardstock across the cardstock for a cute, stitched look.

I really love the Textural Elements with a natural wooden element to your paper craft, I added some colour for the berries using dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blend. I used the fine tip end.

Christmas Gift Tag

I wanted to create a gift tag to go with the card and I haven't used the new Celebrations Tag Dies yet.

This cute die has lovely detail with some stitching and scalloped edging. Using Crumb Cake Cardstock for the gift tag and stamping the pine boughs stamp onto the tag.

Keeping with the same colours as the card, I've added Real Red Ribbon with Linen Thread and Real Red Cardstock and Glimmer Paper for the bell. I've fussy cut out the sentiment.

Now it's time to visit Sharon Davern I can't wait to see her beautiful Christmas project.

Sharon is also the host of the hop with all of the list of the participants, click here to see the list

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Small Gifts and Tags

Hello and welcome,

It's Stamping 2nd Sunday latest blog hop for November, hosted by Sara Levin and for this month the design team will be showcasing the theme 'Small Gifts and Tags' in our projects. The list of participants will be at the end of this blog.

Today's projects are a Mini Christmas Paper Pumpkin Box and two Christmas gift tags using the Whimsical Trees Bundle, Gingerbread Dies, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Playful Alphabet Dies and lots of other different types of Stampin' Up! products from the Mini and Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue.

The Mini Paper Pumpkin gift box is great for all of those yummy treats at Christmas time and it's food safe as well. I've used the emboss resist technique for the snow flakes stamps which is from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set in the Annual Catalogue. The colours I've used are Soft Succulent and Cinnamon Cider Ink with the Blending Brush.

I added a gift tag to the gift box using the large die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies, adding ink in the same colours as above mentioned through out my projects. The sentiment is stamped off three times in Cinnamon Cider Ink to give it a vintage feel.

The addition of the boarder piece die-cut from the Gingerbread Dies in Basic White Cardstock and I added a little Cinnamon Cider Ink to the piece.

I've used the iridescent foil snowflakes which are from the Wonderful Snowflakes and layered with the trio of Christmas Trees Dies. I love the new white Classic Matte Dots which will be available in the Mini Stampin' Up! January to June 2022 Catalogue.

I've created two Christmas gift tags which complement nicely with the gift box and I've used the same colours and techniques.

The first gift tag I've used the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and the greeting stamped in Cinnamon Cider Ink and is from the Whimsical Trees Stamp Set. I just love this so much! I've combined the Linen Thread and White Faux Linen Ribbon to the tag

For the second tag I've used the Playful Alphabet Dies and Adhesive Sheets. I've added Cinnamon Cider Ink with a Blending Brush and applied ink to a strip of Basic White Cardstock using the Ombre technique. The greeting is layered on a smaller die-cut tag from the Tailor Made Tags Dies. I also splattered Cinnamon Cider Ink using the Stampin' Blend and flick ink against the lid to the Cardstock.

Week 5 Heart of Christmas Blog Hop

Hello and welcome

Tomorrow is the day! The brand new Stampin' Up! Mini August - December 2021 Catalogue and Saleabration Catalogue goes live. I always love to create cards and paper craft for Christmas and I'm so in love with the new mini catalogue. Stampin' Up! sure know how to give us a variety of products to suit everyone.

Tonight's Art With Heart blog hop is hosted by Rachel Woollard with a selection of members from the Art With Heart Team who will be joining in. I'm looking forward to seeing their beautiful projects using Stampin' Up! products.

I've created a lovely bundle which all goes nicely together using the Peaceful Place 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper which comes in Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Black and Silver. There are 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 double-sided designs. This paper is stunning! I just love the designs and there's a touch of silver throughout the DSP.

The Designer Series Paper comes in the Peaceful Place Suite which I'm yet to purchase all of the products in this suite. There's the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set & Cabin Dies, I do have the Snowy White Velvet Sheets and that's beautiful. The Timber 3D Embossing Folder, Subtle Shimmer Sequins and the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon which I also do have. The items I don't have are sure on my wish list!

Mini Paper Pumpkin 3D Box

The white Paper Pumpkin Box can be put together quickly, needs no adhesive and is food safe. I've created a belly band using the Peaceful Place DSP.

Using the Stitched Rectangles Dies I've die-cut out using the Silver Foil Specialty Paper and a smaller die for the Peaceful Place DSP. Then layering them on top of one another.

I finally purchased the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon and I wish I had purchased it a long time ago. It's stunning to work with and I've created a bow for on top of the box using lots of Glue Dots.

The greeting is from Holly Jolly Wishes Stamp Set which has lots of different sentiments for Christmas. I've heat embossed the greeting using Versamark Ink onto Basic Black Cardstock, White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. Then I've die-cut using the stitched die from Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I also added a few silver foil snowflakes from the So Many Snowflakes Dies.

Card

One of  the sheets from Peaceful Place DSP comes in a 6 x 6 quadrant to be cut into 4 and used as a background for your paper crafting.

I've layered one of the backgrounds to Basic Black card base and added the sentiment using Black Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. A very simple but elegant card created in no time.

Gift Tags

I've created two gift tags using the Peaceful Place DSP in shades of Smoky Slate and Basic Gray. Using the Tailor Made Tags Dies and die-cut the DSP out. I've layered the DSP onto either Basic White or Basic Black Cardstock which has also been die-cut out with the Tag Dies.

Using White Glittered Ribbon and White Baker's Twine for one of the tags and the other is White Faux Linen Ribbon with White Baker's Twine. The white heat embossed Sentiment is from Holly Jolly Wishes Stamp Set.

I hope I've inspired you to start creating your own Christmas projects using paper craft. Stampin' Up! have so many beautiful products and I just love how it all coordinates.

 Hello and welcome,

The design team at Creation Station are presenting their projects using products from the Stampin' Up! Saleabration Catalogue and using them with products from the Mini and Annual Catalogues. In a couple of days starting from 3rd August until 30 September 2021 Saleabration starts with Stampin' Up! Every $90 AUD or $180 AUD you spend (before shipping and handling) you can choose FREE products! Now that's exciting! It's best to get in quick as I'm sure they will sell out fast!

My handmade projects that I've created today is using the Penguin Playmates 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper 158420 which includes 12 sheets: 2 each of 6 double sided designs. The colors are Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Fresh Freesia, Just Jade, Misty Moonlight and Soft Sea Foam. This is FREE when you purchase $90 of Stampin' Up! products.

The DSP coordinates with the Penguin Place Bundle 156789 which is a stamp set 156410 and Penguin Builder Punch 156452. Buying it as a bundle with 10% off and will save you money. Plus the punch also punches out one of the penguins from the DSP.

Slimline Card

The slimline card is measured at 21cm x 20cm and fits nicely inside a standard business size envelope. I've used Fresh Freesia Cardstock for the card base and layered the panel of Penguin Playmates DSP onto the card.

I've created a soft snow look with Basic White Cardstock and sponged Coastal Cabana Ink with the Blending Brush. I've fussy cut out the snow hill and layered over the DSP. The polar bear, penguin, fox, bird and trees are all from the Penguin Playmates DSP. I've fussy cut them out with my Paper Snips.

The sentiment is stamped in Misty Moonlight Ink and is from the Holly Jolly Wishes Stamp Set. The image fits nicely inside the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and layered over the another die-cut in DSP.

Mini Paper Pumpkin Box

Using a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box for the base of my 3D project, I've created a belly band using the Penguin Playmates DSP in Fresh Freesia and added Fresh Freesia Ribbon around the box.

I've used a medium size Stitched Rectangle Die and die-cut out the DSP for the base. I then layered Basic White Cardstock for the ground and applied Coastal Cabana Ink with the Blending Brush.

More fussy cutting out for the penguin, polar bear, snowman, bird, tree and fox which is from the Penguin Playmates DSP. I've stamped images from the Penguin Place Stamp Set using Fresh Freesia and Misty Moonlight Ink.

Christmas Gift Tags

The two cute gift tags was lots of fun to create using different elements with stamp sets, dies and paper.

The cute penguin in Just Jade outfit is from the Penguin Playmates DSP, as well as the gift tag and Circle Die. I also used the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and coordinating Punch for the tree.

The Snowman is fussy cut out from the Penguin Playmates DSP, Christmas tree is in Misty Moonlight Ink stamped on Basic White Cardstock and snow flakes images stamped on the Basic White circle which is die-cut for the Circle Dies. I added a couple of images from the Penguin Place Stamp Set in Calypso Coral.
