Heart of Christmas Blog Hop 2021

 Hello and welcome,

I'm so excited to be sharing with you my first Christmas projects for 2021 tonight with the Art With Heart Team blog hop hosted by Sharon Davern. We've started a little bit earlier this year but you can never have too many beautiful creations for Christmas.

Stampin' Up! have the new July - December 2021 Stampin' Up Mini Catalogue which is coming out very soon for our customers. As demonstrators we are lucky receive the catalogue and also pre-purchase products from the Mini Catalogue and there's more exciting news! Stampin' Up! have Sale-A-Bration for 3 August - 30 September 2021 or unless sold out earlier. Choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration product with every $90 AUD or $180 AUD you spend (before shipping and handling). I always love free Stampin' Up! products.

As I wait for my delivery to arrive in the post I still have some of the stamp sets, punch and Designer Series Paper to create a card and two gift tags.

This card was CASED by two Stampin' Up! demonstrators our very our Art With Heart Team member Judy May and another amazing demonstrator Stesha Bloodhart who always creates amazing projects.

I went with the traditional colours of Real Red, Crumb Cake and Basic White for my projects using the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and coordinating Punch. I just love the detail of the tree image stamped in Real Red onto Basic White Cardstock and White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Real Red Cardstock.

The Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper carried over into the Mini Catalogue and was perfect for my card. I love the red and white stripes.

It's so cold here in Melbourne lately, but it has never snowed where I live. I wanted a snowy look for my card so I used the tiny snow flakes stamp from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set. They are stamped in Versamark Ink onto Crumb Cake Cardstock, sprinkled with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. One day I would so love to have a white Christmas. It's on the list of things to do!

To finish off the card I've stamped the sentiment in Real Red Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and die-cut out using the Tailor Made Tags Dies. The Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and two of the Real Red Gems From My Heart Faceted Gems was the perfect addition to the Christmas Card.

As I always like to stamp and create a few extra pieces for my projects, I thought I would start on my gift tags for Christmas. Using the Tailor Made Tags Dies for the base and sentiment.

I like how they come in all sizes and they are stitched as well. They didn't take too long to create and are perfect for those Christmas gifts under the Christmas tree.

I hope I've inspired you to start creating your own Christmas projects using paper craft. Stampin' Up! have so many beautiful products and I just love how it all coordinates.

Art With Heart December Blog Hop Add A Little Sparkle

The Art With Heart Team are back with our last Blog Hop for 2019. Getting in the spirit of Christmas and New Year celebrations, this month our theme is ‘Add A Little Sparkle’. We have a huge range of sparkly  projects to share with you featuring products such as Glimmer paper, Rhinestones, Delicata Ink, Shimmery White cardstock and much more. All of these products are available from Stampin’ Up! and any of these lovely ladies would be happy to assist you.

I was so excited to hear about this theme for our latest blog hop, anything that is made out of glitter is my kind of thing and I’m so happy to be sharing with you my latest Christmas Card using Stampin’ Up! products. Plus I’m using a brand new product that is available for customers in January 2020.

Glitter is so much fun to play with when it comes to using it in your papercraft, cards or scrapbooking. The colour choice for my card I've chosen is Whisper White, Silver (all different types of mediums) and Blushing Bride (a beautiful shade of pink).

I started off with a piece of Silver Foil, run it through with the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder and the Die Cutting Machine. Then I die cut the embossed Silver Foil paper with the medium size Stitched Rectangle Dies to give the card a nice finished look. I wanted to give the Silver Foil some sparkle so I ran my Versamark Ink Pad along the raised bumps, added Stampin’ Glitter and heat set with the Heat Tool.

I’ve used the Beautiful Boughs Dies for the labels and the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set for the greetings. Using Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder to coordinate the colours throughout the card.

The gorgeous snowflakes and leaf foliage are from the Christmas Layers Dies. I’ve die cut them out using Blushing Bride Cardstock and Silver Glimmer paper which is just stunning to use.

The Blushing Bride leaf foliage needed some added sparkle so I used the Shimmery Crystal Effects and sprinkled Stampin’ Glitter on top, wait for it to dry before adding to your papercraft. The snow flakes add a nice touch to the card too.

The card base is Thick Whisper White Cardstock and I’ve randomly stamped the words in Blushing Bride Ink, but I like to stamp off before stamping onto the card. I’ve added Silver Metallic Thread under the top label.

Now for the new product which is available in January 2020 in the Mini Catalogue they are pretty embellishments called From My Heart Faceted Gems. They add some pretty pink sparkle to the card. What do you think?

The next demonstrator to share their sparkly projects with you is the delightful….. Rebecca Jacovou

Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday Catalogue Art With Heart Team Blog Hop Week 12

Hello and welcome,

It’s week 12 with the Heart of Christmas blog hop and today I’ll be sharing my card using the Christmastime Is Here Suite. This suite is here for a limited time for the month of November and you can order this product today! The suite is available to purchase from my online store link at the end of this blog.

This suite is exclusive to Stampin’ Up! It’s just so stunning with the gorgeous festive floral Christmas Rose Stamp Set and coordinating Roses Dies which the die cuts out the Rose stamped image.

For the card I’ve stamped the large floral image onto Whisper White Cardstock. I wanted to use some different colours for the Rose and I’ve used my Stampin’ Blends. I just love to colour with the Blends they are just so magical to create with!

I started off with colouring in the rose using both light & dark Mint Macaron and blending in with the Color Lifter. The bigger leaves I have used light & dark Soft Sea Foam. The spikey thin looking leaves, I started off using the light Mossy Meadow, but then I decided I wanted to use the dark Smoky Slate. The grey always goes so nicely together with these colours. The pinecones are in light & dark Crumb Cake and the berries I have used light & dark Flirty Flamingo.

For the card base I’ve used Thick Whisper White Cardstock, stamped the greeting off in Mint Macaron and then stamping randomly on the Cardstock.

The card front has been lightly sponged in Mint Macaron with the Sponge Dauber to give the die cut some lift as well as colour to the card. Before adding the Rose die cut image to the card I’ve placed Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon under the Rose.

The Merry Christmas greeting is from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set, stamped in Memento Black and die cut with the smaller label from the Beautiful Boughs Dies. I just love it when Stampin’ Up! products can be used so well together and then you have a completely different card.

To finish off the card I’ve layered the die pieces with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I’ve placed three Frosted Epoxy Droplets which balances nicely with the soft colours.

This week's Heart of Christmas blog hop is hosted by Claire Daly to see her creation and the rest of the team please click here.

Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday Catalogue Art With Heart Team Blog Hop Week 6

Hello and welcome,

It's week 6 of the Heart of Christmas 2019 blog hop, showcasing Stampin' Up! products to create Christmas creations. I've chosen the Perfectly Plaid Bundle with Crumb Cake and Pretty Peacock for my card this week.

I've used the tree stamp from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp set and stamped the images in Pretty Peacock Ink onto coordinating Cardstock. Punched them out with the Pine Tree Punch and the third image I've used the gingham In Color 2019-2021 6"x 6" Designer Series Paper in Pretty Peacock.

To make the three Christmas Trees pop I've used Crumb Cake Cardstock and die cut using the Stitched Rectangles Dies, adding another layer in Pretty Peacock and the third layer in gingham Pretty Peacock DSP. I just love the stitching on the cardstock it gives you that quilted look. The base of the card is also in Pretty Peacock.

The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set and it fits perfectly inside the smallest Stitched Rectangle Die. I've cut the Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon in half, so just the edging of the scallops is only showing and layered onto the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I found this card nice and quick to complete. You could also change up the colours by using any of the New In Colors for 2019-2021, using the DSP and Scalloped Ribbon.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope you'll visit all the other ladies blogs by clicking on the link here at Judy May's Blog.

Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday Catalogue Art With Heart Team Blog Hop Week 4

Hello and welcome,

I'm so excited to be back with the Heart of Christmas blog hop for week 4 and we will be sharing products from the 2019 Holiday Catalogue.

This week's card is all about Melon Mambo and Gold, using the Perfectly Plaid Bundle which comes with the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and Coordinating Pine Tree Punch. I just love pink and gold together it just gives you that pop of fun when creating a Christmas card.

I've used the Pigment Sprinkles in Melon Mambo and the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I've used this technique before when I created the Daisy Lane card in the same colours a few weeks ago. I've spritzed water onto a piece of Watercolor Paper, adding a few sprinkles of the Pigment Sprinkles and blending ink with the Aqua Painter. Dry it with the Heat Tool and add a few more Pigment Sprinkles.

I've used one of the tree stamps from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set, stamped in Versamark Ink, Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. Punch out three Christmas trees with the Pine Tree Punch and place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back on the tree.

Using a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock I've spritzed water and add a little of the Melon Mambo Pigment Sprinkles onto a Clear Block. Then with a Aqua Painter lightly brush the colour onto the Cardstock and I also added a few splatter effects with the Painter too.

I've only used part of the greeting for the sentiment by covering up the words that I didn't want to use with a posted note, ink up with Versamark Ink and remove posted note before stamping onto a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock. Sprinkle Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.

The card base is Melon Mambo Cardstock, layered with a sheet of Gold Foil, add the inked up Shimmery White Cardstock, place the three trees and snipped out greeting.

Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday Catalogue Art With Heart Team Blog Hop Week 1

Hello and welcome,

I’m so excited to be sharing with you a new blog hop run by Claire Daly and the ladies from Art With Heart Team. We will be running weekly blog hop on Wednesday night's with a Christmas theme from the new Holiday Catalogue 2019.
Thank you so much Claire for organizing the Heart of Christmas 2019 Blog Hop.
Tonight’s card that I have created is using the gorgeous Feels Like Frost 6x6 Specialty Designer Series Paper, beautiful photographic imagery on one side, hand drawn designs with silver foil on the other. 48 sheets: 4 each of 12 double-sided designs. I really like the blues in the DSP, Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, Seaside Spray and I wanted to create a card using these colours with Whisper White.
I’ve used the rectangle from the Heirloom Frames Die and Embossing Folder, with a Sponge Dauber I’ve lightly covered the frame with Frost White Shimmer Paint and layered the piece over the DSP.
The Stamp Set I’ve used is Perfectly Plaid which comes in a bundle with the Pine Tree Punch and you can save 10% when purchased together. The Christmas tree and sentiment has been stamped onto Seaside Spray Cardstock and I used White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set the images with the Heat Tool.
The white snow flakes are from the Christmas Layers Dies which come in a bundle with Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set another great purchase as it’s 10% saving. I ran the Snowflake Die through the Big Shot with a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock and with my snips I snipped some of the snowflakes apart.
To finish off the card I’ve placed the DSP onto the base of Thick Whisper White Cardstock and I placed Dimensionals under the rectangle Heirloom Frame to give the card some depth.
You can see the rest of this week’s Christmas cards over at Claire Daly’s blog

I hope you liked my card and thank you for visiting my blog today.
