Stampin' Up! 2019 - 2020 New Catalogue Blog Hop

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative products using supplies from the upcoming 2019 - 2020 annual catalogue. If you would like a copy of the brand new annual catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you.

I will be sharing with you the new In-Colours for 2019 – 2021 and the type of products that available. They are Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray and Purple Posy. I just love the names that Stampin’ Up! come up with.

The colours come in Ink, Cardstock, Designer Series Paper 6” x 6”, Ribbon, Stampin’ Write Markers and Faceted Dots. I’ve created theses five cards using the Free As A Bird Stamp Set and coordinating Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

Each card that I’ve created shows some variation of colour and texture with different materials.

Rococo Rose

The birds have been stamped in Stazon Jet Black Ink on Shimmery White Cardstock. I used my Aqua Painter to lightly colour the birds and flowers in.

Terracotta Tile

The In-Colour DSP 6”x6” has 40 sheets, 4 each of 2 double sided designs. The ½” Scalloped Linen Ribbon is woven ribbon with colourful scalloped edges.

Pretty Peacock

Seaside Spray

All the new Inks are just so beautiful to work with, but due to the quality issues with Purple Posy it is currently unavailable in the Ink pad and Ink Refill. Stampin’ Up! are working with the supplier to solve this issue as soon as possible. I will be very happy once this colour is available. The Cardstock etc…. is just so pretty. I used Highland Heather for the birds and I tried to keep it as close as I could to the Cardstock, DSP and Ribbon.

Purple Posy

Stampin' Up! Week 49 Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop Soft Suede

Hello and welcome back to my blog with the lovely ladies from Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop.

Today is week 49 and we are playing along with Soft Suede which is one of the Neutrals Collection Colours.

Have you seen the gorgeous Everything is Rosy Product Medley? In this Medley box you get 6 x 6 DSP, two spools of ribbon, Embellishments, Shimmer Paint and of course Stamps and Dies.  I wanted to use the Everything Is Rosy Stamp Set and Dies which is available while supplies last for the month of May 2019.

I’ve made a gift set which coordinates with one another. The colour I’ve used with Soft Suede is the new In Color for 2019-2020 Rococo Rose which can be purchased from the 4th June 2019.

To create the flowers and leaves I have stamped the image up to three times without reinking the stamp. This gives you different shading of the image, but only using the same colour for the flowers and for the leaves. I lightly inked up a Sponge Dauber and sponged the centre of two the bigger flowers in Rococo Rose.

For the background I’ve used Water Color Paper which will be retiring while supplies last until the 3rd June 2019. With my Aqua Painter and Rococo Rose I’ve lightly brushed ink to give it a subtle colour onto the Watercolor Paper. I also ripped the edges on all four sides of the paper giving it a vintage look. To match the Watercolor Paper, I also did this with the Soft Suede Cardstock too.

To finish the card off I’ve used new Scalloped Linen Ribbon in Rococo Rose and tied a bow in Linen Thread.

To make the matching gift box, I’ve used the Kraft Pillow Box which is a similar colour to Soft Suede. The label I’ve used is from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede. I just love theses labels they come in different sizes to suit your projects.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my latest blog and the gift set that I’ve created. Please visit Catherine’s blog where you’ll find the links to the other participants.

Stampin' Up! Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI55

Hello and welcome,

Today I will be sharing with you a card that I’ve created for the Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI55. We could choose three or more colours from the six given in the photo below.

I’ve chosen Coastal Cabana, Grapefruit Grove, Flirty Flamingo and Smoky Slate for my card.

I recently received some new Stampin’ Up! products from the Annual Catalogue for 2019 – 2020 as a Demonstrator we can order certain products before the Catalogue has been launched.

Follow Your Art Suite which contains the following. It Starts With Art Stamp Set, coordinating Dies Arts & Crafts, Button Button Embossing Folder and this sweet Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit which I just love.

I wanted to create my own lined paper, so I used a Stampin’ Blend in light Firty Flamingo and ruled lines across the Whisper White Cardstock. Then I embossed the Button Button Folder in Whisper White Cardstock.

The pens, rolls of ribbon, ink refills and clip have been stamped in Stazon ink on Shimmery White Cardstock. With my Aqua Painter I used different colours that I had chosen and watercoloured them in.

Have you seen the Stitched Nested Labels Dies? They are so good to use in my creatations and I just had to use two different sizes and stamped the sentiment. I like how you can create more layers to the card.

Do you think you would buy this set? If you don’t have a Demonstrator and you would like a copy of the new catalogue. Please leave me a message. I'm going to be using theses products in a adults card class coming in June, so if you are interested in a class please let me know.

Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog today.
Happy crafting.
Vicki.

Stampin' Up! Rooted In Nature Birthday Card

Hello and welcome,

Today I wanted to share with you a card that I created for my hubby’s birthday. Blue is a colour that he likes and I wanted to use one of the New In-Colors for 2019-2021 called Seaside Spray which is available next month.

The card was cased from Connie Collins who was an Artisan in 2018 and she created a similar card using the colour Soft Suede. I’ve seen it pop up on Pinterest many times.

I used Night of Navy Cardstock and ran a piece through the Big Shot with the Corrugated Embossing Folder. I wanted to highlight the corrugated look with some Copper Embossing Powder, so I lightly sprinkled it on and heat embossed.

The larger leaves were stamped in Seaside Spray and Night of Navy. I then used a Sponge Dauber in theses colours for different shades on the leaves.

The greeting I’ve used is one of the sentiments from the stamp set Picture Perfect Birthday. I stamped the image with VersaMark Ink and used Copper Embossing Powder. I’ve used a new Die which is available next month called Stitched Nested Labels and I’ve sponged the edges in Seaside Spray with a Sponge Dauber.

To finish off the card I used the Copper Trim which can be stretched to make the trim wide. I love this effect. The fine Copper Metallic Thread was wrapped around my hand and placed down before adding the greeting.

Hope you liked my card and thank you for visiting my blog.

Stampin' Up! Week 48 Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop Soft Seafoam

Hello and welcome back to my blog with the lovely ladies from Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop.

Today is week 48 and we are playing along with Soft Sea Foam which is one of the Subtles Collection Colours.

Recently I received my order from the new Annual Catalogue for 2019 – 2020 as a demonstrator we can order certain products earlier. I just couldn’t go past the Bird Ballad Suite. The stamp set and labels dies are just so beautiful to work with.

The colours I’ve used with Soft Sea Foam are Rococo Rose (which is a new In-Color for 2019 – 2021) and Crumb Cake. I stamped the bird, flowers and leaves in Crumb Cake and I used my Blends in Soft Sea Foam. I used a Blender Pen and Rococo Rose Ink Pad to colour in the flowers.

I wanted some shine on the flowers so I used the Rose Gold Shimmer Paint which is from the Everything Is Rosy Product Medley. I was so excited to use this gorgeous product and it goes so well with Rococo Rose. The Rose Metallic Thread also blends in well with theses items too. I just love anything in Rose Gold.

The new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Dies are really easy to use. I used a medium size Stitched Nested Label in Soft Sea Foam.

The new In Colors have some gorgeous new Scalloped Linen Ribbon. The woven linen ribbon has colourful scalloped edges and I’ve used Rococo Rose.

Well I hope you’ve enjoyed my latest blog and the card that I’ve created. Please visit Catherine's blog where you’ll find the links to the other participants.

I just can’t wait to order more products from the new Annual Stampin’ Up! 2019-2020 catalogue. If you would like a catalogue from me please leave a message and I will be in contact with you shortly.

Stampin' Up! Week 47 Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome back to my blog with the lovely ladies from Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop.

Today is week 47 and we are playing along with So Saffron which is one of the Subtles Collection Colours.

So Saffron is a lighter colour for the yellow family. I decided to use the Beauty Abounds bundle for a dear friend of mine who’s birthday is coming up soon.

The So Saffron Cardstock was used for two of the butterflies and the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch. I love this punch and you can do so much with it, so once punched out I decided to attach it to a strip of Shimmery White Cardstock. The stripe effect was created by using So Saffron ink and an Aqua Painter, so simple and effective.

I used Whisper White Thick Cardstock for the card base. I find this is best as it’s stronger than normal White Cardstock. I also used White Cardstock for one of the butterflies. I lightly sponged over the butterfly with a Dauber and So Saffron ink to give it a delicate soft look.

The Beauty Abounds Cling Stamp Set was used for the background of the card. I just stamped off before stamping on the card with So Saffron Classic Stampin’ Pad.

The Happy Birthday! is from the Amazing Life Stamp Set which is retiring soon. I heat embossed it using White Embossing Powder on So Saffron Cardstock.

To finish off the card I used the Whisper White Flax Ribbon and Iridescent Sequin in So Saffron.

Please visit Catherine’s blog where you’ll find the links to the other participants.

Thank you for visiting mine.

Stampin' Up! Colour InkSpiration Colour Challenge #52

Hello and welcome,

Today I will be sharing with you a card that I created for a colour challenge from the Facebook page Colour InkSpiration Challenge #CI52. Anyone is welcome to join in and it’s due by 7pm 8th April.

The colours we have to use are Early Espresso, Whisper White, Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam. This is my card for the challenge.

This is the photo they have chosen for the challenge. Don’t you just love this slice? It’s looks so delicious and here is the link for the recipe Chocolate Mint Slice – vegan, gluten & dairy free
I might just have to make this one.

I decided to use the bunny stamp from the Fable Friends stamp set and make an Easter Card. I used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits in Shimmery White and Granny Apple Green Cardstock.

I water coloured the bunny using my Aqua Painter and using Early Espresso and Soft Sea Foam.

I wanted to make my own DSP so I stamped the greeting from the set a number of times using Early Espresso. To finish off the card I used the daisy punch from the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack and a Stampin’ Blend in Granny Apple Green for the centre of the daisy. The foliage is from Needlepoint Elements Framelits and the greeting stamped in Early Espresso on one of the Stitched Labels Framelits.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my Easter card and maybe you might like to join in the challenge too.
