Colour Creations Blog Hop Balmy Blue Week 2 Art With Heart Team Australia

Hello and welcome

Tonight I'll be sharing with you Week 2 of Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team in Australia.

Each week there will be a Colour Creations blog hop showcasing Stampin' Up! Colors with a selection of members from the Art With Heart Team who will be joining in. I'm looking forward to seeing their beautiful projects using the Stampin' Up! Colors. You'll be able to hop around by clicking on the next link at the end of my blog.

The colour for tonight is Balmy Blue which is part of the Subtles Collection and comes in a number of different mediums such as Ink, Cardstock, Stampin' Blends, DSP etc.... I've used Balmy Blue with Crumb Cake and Real Red for my handmade card.

I just couldn't resist using the Count on Me Stamp Set again, last week I used it for Week 1 for the In Colors Blog Hop. Today's card is a vintage feel with lots of layers which I love to create these types of cards.

The cute bear is a watercolour using Crumb Cake Ink and fussy cut out. I've layered him onto the Basic White Tailor Made Tag and added Balmy Blue Ink with the Blending Brush.

The You're a Peach Designer Series Paper is so beautiful, my favourite is the Balmy Blue striped side onto Basic White DSP. I actually torn the side of the DSP and used some of the other side and placed it under the tag.

The other panel is Basic White Cardstock adding Balmy Blue Ink with the Blending Brush and embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. I also ruffed up the edges with the Paper Snips.

The sentiment is from the Create With Friends Stamp Set, I love all of the words and the font in this set. You can create so many different greetings for your paper craft. I've used Real red and Balmy Blue. The Forever fits nicely in the smaller tag. The tiny Real Red hearts are from the Floral Heart Dies. How cute is the one on the bears backside?
