Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Gold Laser Cut Paper

Hello and welcome to Stamping Sunday Blog Hop the Design Team will be showcasing off the gorgeous Gold Laser Cut Paper in our projects. The Gold Laser Paper is in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue for 2020 - 2021.

We could either choose to create a beginner, casual and avid card or a card and 3D project. I will be showcasing three cards and I've incorporated the Gold Paper with Whisper White into Christmas cards.

Beginner:

For my first card I've used the stunning Gold Foil text on white paper from the Wonder of the Season Specialty Designer Series Paper, combined with Home Together and Joy Dies. I love the cute little house sitting in the Gold Laser branch and gold bow.

Casual:

For my second card I've used the Gold wreath with the little house in white this time and gold heart. The white flowers are from the In the Tropics Dies and I've added Gilded Gems for the center piece of each flower. The panel of Whisper White Cardstock is embossed with the Winter Snow embossing Folder. For the sentiment I've added the White Foam Adhesive under the Gold Foil die cut image.

Avid:

For my last card I've created a shaker card using the Snow Globe Scenes to create a little wonderland using the Home Together Dies and Snowflake Sequins. I've used many layers for this card using the Gold Foil, Whisper White Cardstock and the Gold Laser Cut Paper.

Make it Creation Station Interactive March Hop

Hello and welcome,

Today, it’s all about “Make it” Creation Station Interactive and my card is a Shaker Card for today’s blog hop.

I’ve chosen the Painted Poppies Bundle, using bright colours for the Poppies and as well as the sunset in the shaker window. The mixture of Poppy Parade, Rich Razzleberry, Blackberry Bliss and Mango Melody creates an amazing blend of colours while water colouring the Poppies. The sunset was combined of the same colours on Shimmery White Cardstock, once dried I stamped the group of Poppies on the Cardstock.

The black frame has been cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies which forms the window, place a piece of Window Sheet and Foam Adhesive Strips to give room for the Peaceful Poppies Sequins room to move. Adding extra adhesive also helps to secure the Cardstock together too.

I just love the two splatter stamps from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set, which made creating my Whisper White card front easy and the black sequins are from the Peaceful Poppies Sequins.

The sentiment is from the Label Me Bold Stamp Set this is a very handy set with lots of useful greetings to use for your projects and it’s also inspired by Million Sales Achiever Jasmin Schulze.

All of the Stampin’ Up! products that I’ve used in these projects will be listed at the end of my blog post and are available at my online store.

Be sure to visit everyone’s blog and see their amazing creations for the month of March. Make sure you come back next month for more inspiration and see our creations.

Stampin' Up! Art With Heart Blog Hop - Christmas

Hello and welcome,

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative Christmas projects, many featuring products from the upcoming Holiday Catalogue which starts on the 4th of September.

If you would like a copy of the 2019 - 2020 Annual catalogue or the new Holiday catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you.

When I first had a flick through the Holiday Catalogue the first set that I couldn’t wait to purchase was the beautiful Still Scenes bundle. The bundle includes the Still Scenes Stamp Set and the coordinating Snow Globe Scenes Dies when purchased in a bundle you save 10% off. The thought of creating a Snow Globe Christmas Card was really exciting too!

I wanted to create my card by making a snow scene and shaker card using soft colours with silver, white and lots of twinkles. The Snowflake Sequins are just gorgeous they come in stars, snowflakes and round sequins in clear, iridescent, silver and white.
Before I even started to create the card, I wanted to know a way on how to put the globe part together and I found a YouTube video tutorial by Suzanne Burnett. Click on the video below to see how Suzanne created her gorgeous card.

Once I had die cut the snow globe insert (Whisper White Cardstock), trees (Silver Foil) and church pieces (Whisper White Cardstock & scrap piece of Gold Foil). To create the snow on the trees, I covered the Silver Foil in Versamark Ink, covered in White Emboss Powder, brushed some of the powder off with a brush and then heat set. I love this look and here is a close up of the trees.

The background for the snow scene is sponged in Seaside Spray, White Emboss Powder in stars and snowflakes. For the layers I’ve used Stampin’ Dimensionals for each layer. Tip (from Suzanne Burnett) with the Snow Globe Shaker Dome is to use the Stampin’ Emboss Buddy and lightly dust the globe. This helps with glitter and sequins not sticking.

I’ve used a few layers for the card – Thick Whisper White (card base), Silver Foil (2nd layer), Whisper White (3rd layer) once they all together with the Snow Globe I then finished off my card.

I’ve used Silver Foil for the Snow Globe stand, layered it with Dimensionals, the sentiment is Silver Embossed on a strip of Whisper White Cardstock, layered with a strip of Silver Foil and two silver foil snowflakes from the Christmas Layers Dies.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. Now it’s time to hop on over to our next participant, the very talented, Caroline Manwaring
