Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI112

Hello and welcome,

It's the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI112 and this photo was chosen by me! I just love the Australian flora in this photo and it's a great colour combo for the challenge.

The colour combination for #CI112 is Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Mint Macaron and Gray Granite. As well as the chosen colours you may also add Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Sahara Sand and metallics to your project. We also allow 'Ivory' and 'Bronze' in the Stampin' Blends. If you don't have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: So Saffron instead of Daffodil Delight .... you get the drift).

The challenge will run for almost 2 weeks until 7pm (AEST) on Monday 6th December 2021 details to follow at the end of my blog.

Tonight's card I've used the Whimsical Trees Stamp Set and Christmas Trees Dies from the Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue 2021. The sentiment is from the Holly Jolly Wishes Stamp Set with lots of masking with sticky notes to separate each of the words.

I wanted a starry night for the background, so I've used the dotty tree stamp to create the white cluster of stars on Gray Granite Cardstock. It could also be used as snow as well. I've used Versamark Ink and randomly stamped on the Cardstock and sprinkled White Stampin' Emboss Powder then heat set with the Heat Tool.

Using the largest circle die from the Layering Circles Dies in Basic White Cardstock and stamping the tree image in Mint Macaron Ink.

The two larger trees are stamped in Gray Granite and Mint Macaron Ink. Using White Baker's Twine I've wrapped the Twine around the tree and decorated it with the baubles and star in the challenge colours.

To finish off the card I've used more White Baker's Twine and the sentiment was added using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I hope I've inspired you with the latest challenge and I do hope you'll join in. We so look forward to seeing a variety of projects using the challenge colours. Please ensure that your project is new and made specifically for this challenge.

Use all of the challenge colours (or close substitutions) unless stated.

Upload only one picture per entry straight to the discussion wall and not in an album

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Small Gifts and Tags

Hello and welcome,

It's Stamping 2nd Sunday latest blog hop for November, hosted by Sara Levin and for this month the design team will be showcasing the theme 'Small Gifts and Tags' in our projects. The list of participants will be at the end of this blog.

Today's projects are a Mini Christmas Paper Pumpkin Box and two Christmas gift tags using the Whimsical Trees Bundle, Gingerbread Dies, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Playful Alphabet Dies and lots of other different types of Stampin' Up! products from the Mini and Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue.

The Mini Paper Pumpkin gift box is great for all of those yummy treats at Christmas time and it's food safe as well. I've used the emboss resist technique for the snow flakes stamps which is from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set in the Annual Catalogue. The colours I've used are Soft Succulent and Cinnamon Cider Ink with the Blending Brush.

I added a gift tag to the gift box using the large die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies, adding ink in the same colours as above mentioned through out my projects. The sentiment is stamped off three times in Cinnamon Cider Ink to give it a vintage feel.

The addition of the boarder piece die-cut from the Gingerbread Dies in Basic White Cardstock and I added a little Cinnamon Cider Ink to the piece.

I've used the iridescent foil snowflakes which are from the Wonderful Snowflakes and layered with the trio of Christmas Trees Dies. I love the new white Classic Matte Dots which will be available in the Mini Stampin' Up! January to June 2022 Catalogue.

I've created two Christmas gift tags which complement nicely with the gift box and I've used the same colours and techniques.

The first gift tag I've used the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and the greeting stamped in Cinnamon Cider Ink and is from the Whimsical Trees Stamp Set. I just love this so much! I've combined the Linen Thread and White Faux Linen Ribbon to the tag

For the second tag I've used the Playful Alphabet Dies and Adhesive Sheets. I've added Cinnamon Cider Ink with a Blending Brush and applied ink to a strip of Basic White Cardstock using the Ombre technique. The greeting is layered on a smaller die-cut tag from the Tailor Made Tags Dies. I also splattered Cinnamon Cider Ink using the Stampin' Blend and flick ink against the lid to the Cardstock.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below.

Colour Creations Blog Hop - Week 24 Magenta Madness

 Hello and welcome

Tonight I'll be sharing with you Week 24 of Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team in Australia.

Each week there will be a Colour Creations blog hop showcasing Stampin' Up! Colors with a selection of members from the Art With Heart Team who will be joining in. I'm looking forward to seeing their beautiful projects using the Stampin' Up! Colors. You'll be able to hop around by clicking on the next link at the end of my blog.

The colour for tonight is Magenta Madness which is part of the 2020 - 2022 In Colors Collection and comes in a number of different mediums such as Ink, Cardstock, DSP etc....I've used Magenta Madness with Basic White for my hand made Christmas card.

Well I just love Magenta Madness and I just could not resist missing out on this latest blog hop with the Art With Heart Team. I've created a fun watercolout technique which I recently saw over on Tammy Wilson's blog at Stampspaperscissors her creations are always so inspiring and creative.

The water colour Christmas trees which is from the Whimsy & Wonder Suite on page 24 - 25 of the Mini Catalogue. I've used the Christmas Trees Dies and Water color paper which is best used when using lots of water and ink. The best result is to add lots of coloured water and move it around with the Heat Tool. I also splattered ink onto the watercolor paper for a fun effect.

For the background panel I've added Magenta Madness Ink onto Basic White Cardstock with the Blending Brush.

Then I've used the Candy Canes Stamp Set which is also from the Mini Catalogue. I've only used a section of the very large stamp, I've stamped it in Versamark Ink and sprinkled White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.

The trees are layered over the Candy Canes and I've added the stunning White Glittered Organdy Ribbon underneath the greeting which is from Holy Jolly Wishes Stamp Set.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below.

Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI111

 Hello and welcome,

It's the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI111 and this photo was chosen by Colour INKspiration Crew Member, Nicole Wilson. It's a beautiful photo and I love the colours for this latest challenge.

The colour combination for #CI111 is Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. As well as the chosen colours you may also add Basic White, Basic Black, Sahara Sand and metallics to your project. We also allow 'Ivory' and 'Bronze' in the Stampin' Blends. If you don't have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Mint Macaron instead of Soft Succulent .... you get the drift).

The challenge will run for almost 2 weeks until 7pm (AEST) on Monday 22nd November 2021 details to follow at the end of my blog.

I recently received a new order from Stampin' Up! called Heart & Home Collection which will be available for customers in January 2022. Demonstrators who are going to #OnStage@Home could order the collection. Of course I just had to get it all! I've used the Blessings of Home Stamp Set and Flowers of Home Dies the rest I'm yet to play with, but I know I'll be using it all this weekend at #OnStage@Home.

To create the card I've stamped the large floral image in Memento Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and using the Stampin' Blends in  the challenge colours. For the large flower I've used light & dark Soft Succulent and added a little of light Evening Evergreen to give the flower more depth. The center part is in Ivory and the Stampin' Blend Color Lifter. I also stamped a second large flower, coloured it in and fussy cut it out.

The smaller flowers are in Crumb Cake and blending in with the Color Lifter. The leaves are in light & dark Soft Succulent. The large flower image is then die-cut using the large die from the Flowers of Home Dies.

In the Flowers of Home Dies there are lots of other delicate detailed die-cut pieces to add more to your card making, paper crafting and scrapbooking. The options are endless. I've used just some of the smaller dies and die-cut out in Very Vanilla Cardstock.

The card base is in Soft Succulent Cardstock layered with a panel in Soft Succulent which is from the Harvest Meadow 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper

The addition of Very Vanilla Lace adds a vintage look to the card and I also used Very Vanilla Baker's Twine.

To finish off the card the sentiment is from the Blessing of Home Stamp Set, stamped in Crumb Cake Ink onto a strip of Basic White Cardstock and I've place three Very Vanilla Classic Matte Dots onto the card. Well I hope you liked how I've used the challenge colours for this latest challenge.

I hope you can participate in this latest round and as we so look forward to seeing a variety of projects using the challenge colours. Please ensure that your project is new and made specially for this challenge.

Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI111 will run until 7pm (ADET) on Monday 22nd November 2021.

Creation Station Blog Hop - Specialty Paper

Hello and welcome, if you have come from the talented Denita Wright-Smee who is also from Australia or you may of started with me. Please make sure you hope around and see everyone's projects. I'll pop a link at the end of my blog....

The design team at Creation Station are presenting their projects with the theme "Specialty Paper" I've used the new Ever Eden 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper and Cork 12" x 12" Specialty Paper for my creations.

The Ever Eden Specialty DSP is part of the Eden's Garden Collection which is an exclusive early release which consists of Eden's Garden Bundle 10% off (Eden's Garden Stamp Set and Eden Dies) which is part of the Stampin' Up! Mini Jan - June 2022 Catalogue. The stunning Ever Eden 12 x 12 DSP, Ever Eden 12 x 12 Cotton Paper and Garden Gems are only available while supplies last. I was so excited when I received my order and just how stunning the Specialty Paper is. I just had to buy two! I love the different tones of Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and the addition of Gold Foil through out the paper.

I've also used the Cork 12" x 12" Specialty Paper which is from the Stampin' Up! Mini July - December 2021 Catalogue. I love it's nature inspired look and it also has gold flecks throughout. You receive 2 sheets and it's perfect for adding layers, scrapbooking, card making, die-cutting and more!

3D Christmas Wreath Treat Box

When I started creating my projects it was the Scalloped Kraft Treat Box that was my inspiration to begin with. Using both of the Specialty Papers they balanced well against the Kraft Box with the gold polka dots and the stunning Gold Shimmer Ribbon.

I've cut the Ever Eden DSP to cover the top of the box and wrapped the Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the box. The next layers are Tailor Made Dies, I've added Stampin' Dimensionals under the DSP, so the ribbon can be removed.

Next I've used the wreath die which is from the Seasonal Swirl Dies in the Cork and Ever Eden DSP layered over the tags. I added a few of the Cherry Cobbler round Garden Gems to the wreath for a little sparkle.

The greeting fits perfect using the Eden Dies. The sentiment is from Sparkle of the Season Stamp Set and is heat embossed using Versmark Ink, Gold Stampin' Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. This was the only stamping I did when creating my projects.

Christmas Wreath Card

Starting off with Evening Evergreen Cardstock for the card base, layered with a panel of the Ever Eden 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper and I added a circle die-cut from the Layering Circle Dies as my base for the wreath.

I just love a Christmas wreath and the small leaf die from the Eden Dies is perfect! Using the Ombre sheet side from the Ever Eden 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper and with lots of die-cutting, you'll be able to make a wreath too. I also added a few of the Cork 12" x 12" Specialty Paper to add some contrast. To finish off the wreath I added Soft Succulent marquise Garden Gems

Next I used the label die from Eden Dies in Cork Specialty Paper and for the greeting I used the Playful Alphabet Dies using the Ever Eden Specialty Paper. To give the letters some height I've used Foam Adhesive Sheets.

Christmas Gift Tag

A last minute addition to the trio of my creations. As I had a few pieces left over I wanted to create a Christmas Gift Tag using both of the Specialty Papers and Tailor Made Tags Dies.

The addition of the trio of Christmas trees which are from the Christmas Trees Dies they are so cute! The greeting is using the Ombre sheet from the Ever Eden Specialty DSP, Playful Alphabet Dies and Foam Adhesive Sheets.

The Christmas tag is finished off using the Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon and White Baker's Twine.

The best thing about this stunning paper from Eden's Garden Collection is you can use it for any occasion and with the festive season coming up soon it's perfect for paper crafting. All of the above products are available in my online store.

Now it's time to visit the very creative Mikaela Titheridge from the UK to see her projects and visit her blog. I'm looking forward to reading all about her creations. Just click on the next link below.
