Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Last Dance

 Hello and welcome,

It's Stamping 2nd Sunday latest blog hop for April and the theme is Last Dance for the Design Team. Our hop is a little bit different for this month instead of the list of names you can hop around by either going forwards or going backwards. To see Jay Soriano who is before me please click on his name and for Tami Hewlett who is after me. Please click on her name at the end of my blog.

Today you'll be seeing products that will be retiring as of the 3rd of May 2021 or unless SOLD OUT beforehand. Some of the products I've used have already finished like the Purple Posy Stampin' Blends and Cardstock they always seem first to go. You can visit my online store at the end of my blog to purchase any of the products that are available.

The In Colors for 2019 - 2021 are retiring and in particular Purple Posy is one of my favourite In Colors and I'm so sad to see it go. In fact all of them are so beautiful, I will miss them.

I've used the Bloom & Grow Stamp Set 149229 and Budding Blooms Dies 149548 for the main focus for my handmade thank you card and 3D project. I've always loved this stamp set as there are different flower images to colour in with I've chosen to colour them in with Purple Posy 154896 and Mango Melody 154888 Stampin' Blends. I'm really loving shades of yellows and mauves together they just brighten up my day!

Using Purple Posy Cardstock 150887 a half sheet folded in half as my card base, adding a panel of In Color 6" x 6" DSP 153071 in Purple Posy measures at 10.5cm by 12cm. Layering the stamp images of the flowers around the Stitched Nested Labels Dies 149638 in medium size 9.5cm x 5cm in Shimmery White Cardstock and lightly sponging So Saffron Ink onto the piece of Cardstock.

To match with the Gold Mini Pizza Box I've added a couple of the delicate gold pieces from the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper 152493 to the card.

Another set retiring is the Beauty Abounds Stamp Set 148726 and the coordinating Butterfly Beauty Dies 151819. The smaller butterfly is in So Saffron and Gold foil for the die cut butterfly image.

The sentiment is from the Bloom & Grow Stamp Set, it's stamped in Versamark Ink onto Basic Black Cardstock with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. I've fussy cut out the Thank You.

The Gold Mini Pizza Box 152068 coordinates with the card by using the same colours throughout the project. I've rapped around the box using the Vanilla Ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack 152475 and tied it in a bow.

Using a square piece of DSP in Daffodil Delight which is from the Brights 6" x 6" DSP 152487 to form the base for the added layers.

The gold pieces from the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper, Bloom & Grow Stamp Set and the Stitched Nested Labels Dies using a smaller die cut for the sentiment. I added a So Saffron Butterfly to finish off the box.

Creation Station April Blog Hop - Sweet Treat Packages

Hello and welcome,

Today's projects for April 2021 Creation Station blog hop is all about "Sweet Treat Packages" using Stampin' Up! products. There are a number of different stamp sets in both the Mini and Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogues to create into cute packages. I'm so looking forward to seeing all the other design Team Members projects so make sure you click on the link at the bottom of my blog.

For my project I've used the Mini Pizza Boxes which sadly they are retiring from the Annual Catalogue you have until the end of May 2021 unless sold out. I have created three packages for my blog today. Once I started on one, I just had to create two more!

I just love the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle on page 49 of the Jan to June Mini Catalogue. The stamp set comes with the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch and creates yummy projects! I think I'm going to need ice cream after I've finished writing this blog. The weather this weekend in Melbourne is perfect for ice cream.

Each box has a strip of DSP wrapped around each of the boxes, I've cut at 3 1/2" x 10 1/2" and scored at 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 6" and 7"

YUM! 3D Mini Pizza Box

DSP - Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper I've used the sheet in Bumblebee which goes well with So Saffron and Highland Heather Ink. I'm loving this combination it's so pretty! Using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder I've embossed a piece of Basic White Cardstock cut at 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and lightly added Highland Heather Ink. It reminds me of layers of ice cream.

The Mini Pizza Box is coloured in lightly with So Saffron Ink with the Blending Brush.

The Playful Alphabet Dies can create any worlds for your projects so I've created YUM! in a Ombre look with Highland Heather Ink. The Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon ties nicely in a bow around the box. You need sprinkles on your ice cream, so I added the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles in Daffodil Delight and Purple Posy.

Happy Birthday 3D Mini Pizza Box

DSP - Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper I've used the sheet in Cinnamon Cider with the waffle cone print. Cinnamon Cider and Magenta Madness goes well together using ink, paper and ribbon.

I've coloured the box in Cinnamon Cider Ink with the Blending Brush and also on the Basic White Cardstock which is die cut out using the stitched swirl die from the Painted Labels. Using the spotty stamp I've stamped randomly in Cinnamon Cider onto the stitched circle.

Wrapping around the box with Magenta Madness Twill Ribbon and tied in a bow. Adding a few of the Magenta Madness Enamel Dots to finish of this project.

SWEET 3D Mini Pizza Box

DSP - Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper I've used the swirl sheet in So Saffron and Melon Mambo when I see this DSP it reminds me of swirls of ice cream. The colours of So Saffron and Melon Mambo combined together are so sweet and who doesn't want a triple treat ice cream on a cone! I added sprinkles in Daffodil Delight using the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles Embellishments.

The spotty stamp was used again but this time on Basic White Cardstock cut at 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" stamped in So Saffron Ink. The Stitched swirl die cut with Basic White Cardstock and lightly sponged Melon Mambo Ink with the Blending Brush.

I've created a Ombre look using the Playful Alphabet Dies using the letters to create SWEET in Melon Mambo. Finishing off by wrapping the White Polka Dot Ribbon (also retiring) around the box. I've kept the Mini Pizza Box white.

Now it's time to visit the lovely Jeanna Kay to see her amazing creations and visit her blog. I'm looking forward to reading all about her Sweet Treat Packages! I'm sure you will too.

Stamping Sunday February Blog Hop - My Mini Catalogue Favourite

Hello and welcome, it's the latest Stamping Sunday blog hop and we are sharing our favourite products from the Stampin' Up! January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue. The list of designers are at the end of my blog, so make sure you click on their names and see there creations.

Stampin' Up! have so many amazing products in the Mini Catalogue and it was hard to chose which one was my favourite. On my wish list was the stunning 'Pretty Perennials Bundle' item 156234 and the 'Blending Brushes' item 153611.

The Pretty Perennials Stamp Set (154435) is inspired by Million Sales Achiever Dena Rekow, I love the watercolor look of the stamps and the greetings are fun and happy! The Perennial Petals Dies (154321) have flowers, leaves and so much more to create beautiful cards, scrapbooking and 3D gifts etc....

The Blending Brushes item 153611 come in a pack of 3 for $21. The bristles are like soft velvet and work really well when using on large or small scale of paper. Adding and blending colour just got easy when creating your projects, they will be done in no time.

Today I've created a handmade card and 3D Mini Pizza Box for my projects.

Starting with the card I've used the following colours Poppy Parade, Balmy Blue, Bumblebee and Old Olive. I've added Balmy Blue Ink with the Blending Brush to the Whisper White panel and stamped the small flower image directly onto the panel. Before adding the panel to the Poppy Parade card base I used the Paper Snips and ruffed up the edges of the Cardstock.

Using both the stamped images of the flowers and combined them with the die cuts you can pretty much make any type of combination for your flowers. I did use ink to paper with the Blending Brushes to give more depth and shades of colour for the die cuts. Such as the Old Olive for the leaves, Poppy Parade and Bumblebee for the flower dies.

The Balmy Blue DSP strips have been ripped on either side to show off the white in the paper. I added the script and the wood print DSP to the card.

To finish off the card I add a few different Embellishments starting with the Gold Hoop, In Good Taste Elements and the Artistry Blooms Sequins.

The Gold Mini Pizza Box matches the card as a lovely gift. Using different types of ribbon in colours of yellow and gold to match the box. I've wrapped together the Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon with the Gold Fine Art Ribbon around the box and adding the Gold Forever Greenery Trim and tied it in a knot.

Added Whisper White panel is the same as the card, plus the flowers and leaves. I've stamped off the flower image in Poppy Parade which gives the flower a much lighter colour. The sentiment is stamped in Poppy Parade.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Sale a bration Favorites 2021

Hello and welcome, it's the latest Stamping Sunday blog hop and we are sharing our favorite free Saleabration products from Stampin' Up! for the month of January and February 2021.

It's always exciting to receive free Stampin' Up! goodies when you purchase from either the Mini or Annual Catalogues. For every $90 or $180 AUD you spend, you'll earn exclusive Sale-a-bration products for FREE! Stampin' Up! have a variety of Stamp Sets and Designer Series Paper to choose from.

The products I've chosen is the Berry Blessings Stamp Set and Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper these products are free when you spend $180 of Stampin' Up! products (before shipping and handling). Saleabration is the best time of year and we also just launched the new Stampin' Up! January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue. I just love more goodies to play with!

For my projects I've used the blueberries from the Berry Blessings Stamp Set, I started off with a strip of Whisper White Cardstock and stamped the Blueberry images in Balmy Blue Ink. Using Watercolor Pencils in Balmy Blue, Pacific Point, Night of Navy, Gorgeous Grape colouring in the Berries with the pencils and blending in with Clear Wink of Stella, I love the brightness of the colours and a little sparkle from the pen.

The Berry Delightful DSP has these gorgeous prints on either side of the paper and I've used the bright blues to follow through with the Blueberries. I've cut the front of the card 1cm shorter to show off strip of DSP, giving you the impression that it's on the outside of the card when closed.

Using the Stitched So Sweetly second largest die cut in Whisper White Cardstock, inking up the stamped images in Balmy Blue for the berries and Granny Apple Green for the foliage. Using the Watercolor Pencils and Wink of Stella to add more depth.

The additional pieces include the butterflies from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and punched out with the Butterfly Duet Punch. Fussy cut out the flowers from the Berry Delightful DSP. I don't have the Strawberry Builder Punch as of yet, but I believe the flowers in the DSP can be punched out.

The Mini Pizza Box was easy to create once I had the idea for the card, making the cute little box was simple. Using the new Blending Brushes and Pacific Point Ink I lightly added ink to the box. The application was nice and smooth and so quick to cover all over the outside of the box.

Layering with Berry Delightful DSP, Stitched So Sweetly die in Whisper White but this time I used a smaller die for the box, butterflies, stamped images in blueberries and foliage. To finish of the Mini Pizza Box I've added the Night of Navy Ribbon around the box and tied in a bow.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Mini Catalog Designer Paper

Hello and welcome

Today at the Stamping Sunday Design Team we will be sharing our projects using Designer Paper from the Stampin' Up! August to December 2020 Mini Catalogue. We could either create a beginner, casual or avid card. Or create a card and 3D project, which I decided on.

I was drawn to the stunning Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper which is on page 37 of the Mini Catalogue. I just love the selection of wintery blues & mauves and the hand-painted snowflakes. Stampin' Up! have a fantastic Designer Series Paper sale on for the month of October 2020 which includes this DSP for more details about the sale I'll have a link at the end of my blog to my on-line store.

Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper

You can do so much when it comes to Designer Series Paper and I'll show you a couple of different examples.

Easel Card

I've used the DSP and Whisper White Cardstock to create an easel card which is very easy to do. I started with a sheet of 12" x 12" Whisper White Cardstock, cut at 6" x 12" and scored at 3" & 6". Then cut another piece at 6" x 6" for the card front. The two smaller pieces of DSP are cut at 2.76" x 5.71 and two larger pieces at 5.71" x 5.71" this gives a nice white boarded around the DSP.

For the front panel the DSP is embossed using the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder which adds another layer to the card. The tiny snow flakes are stamped on the DSP in Balmy Blue Ink, using the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set. To set the wintery scene I've used different dies in Whisper White Cardstock, sponged ink with the Sponge Dauber and added Wink of Stella for added sparkle.

I've stamped the snowflake images and sentiment onto the two smaller panels for the inside of the easel card. The larger piece I've added a strip of Snowflake Splendor Ribbon so the card can sit up. The Dies from the Peace and Joy Bundle using the DSP and Whisper White Cardstock.

3D Project

The wintery snowflake Mini Pizza Box is my other project for today's blog. I've ink up the box using the Stamping Sponge and Balmy Blue Ink. Then I spritzed the box by filling up a Stampin' Spritzer using a drop of Frost White Shimmer Paint and rubbing alcohol. This gives the box a nice sparkle.

I've made a belly band for the box by using a wide strip of Snowflake Splendor DSP, then wrapping the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon around the box three times. Using the Dies from the Wishes and Wonder Bundle, I've die cut out the stitched gift tag and stitched starburst circle using the DSP.

I also used the deer and the leaves from the North Pole Dies, it's such a great bundle for your Christmas projects. The Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper is perfect for the So Many Snowflakes Dies adding more sparkle to the Christmas Mini Pizza Box.

A few more added touches such as using the Silver Foil for the Joy die image, clear droplets from the Flowers for every season Gems and Wink of Stella. The Mini Pizza Box makes a nice gift for someone special at Christmas time.

Make sure you click on the below links to see the other designers. I can't wait to see their creations and how they've used Designer Paper in their projects.
