Artisan Design Team - Rainbow of Happiness Bundle

 Hello and welcome,

I'm so excited to be sharing with you my first assignment with the Artisan Design Team for 2022! Over the next 12 months I'll be sharing with you my creative designs using Stampin' Up! products. Make sure you visit Stampin' Up! Facebook page for lots of inspiration, techniques and tips.

I'm on a team of five creative Artisan's from around the world and we were asked to create using the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle. This bundle includes Rainbow of Happiness Stamp Set and Brilliant Rainbow Dies they are in the new Mini Catalogue January to June 2022. I love the sentiments from the stamp set and they are perfect to brighten up someone's day!

Rainbow of Happiness Bundle #157727 bundle savings $77.25

For my projects I've created a slimline card and three mini note cards using bright happy colours. The smaller rainbow die-cuts are the perfect size for the note cards, I'll be popping them in my daughter's lunch box for when she's at school.

Slimline Card

The Brilliant Rainbow Dies have a variety of different sizes of Rainbows die-cut images and I've used the larger image. I was playing around with the different watercolour wash die-cut pieces and then an image popped into my head. My daughter was given a shooting star necklace trinket for Christmas and I thought why not try this same look with the larger image of the rainbow.

The watercolour wash is a mix of colours on Shimmery White Cardstock, Water Painter I like to use the large flat brush tip and water in a bowl. The combination of colours are So Saffron and Mango Melody for the yellows, Polished Pink and Magenta Madness for the pinks, Balmy Blue and Pacific Point for blues and Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape for the purples.

I like to use a good size of Shimmery White Cardstock for my watercolour wash, cut a sheet at 10cm x 21cm for each colour this will create enough for all four cards in today's projects. Then spritz water using the Stampin' Spritzer or apply water using the Water Painter to the Shimmery paper. I always start with the lighter colour and then add more colour with the darker shade of ink. Playing around with colour is so much fun and it can change on how much ink you use.

The cloud background panel is using the faux masking technique by punching out the cloud image from the Cloud Punch and applying ink with the Blending Brush. I've used a mix of Polished Pink, Gorgeous Grape and Pacific Point to the background.

I wanted a shooting star look so I added four of the stitched stars which fits perfectly at the end of the rainbow panel. The stars are from the Give it a Whirl Dies and I just love the stitched look. The sentiment fits perfectly on the Gorgeous Grape rainbow.

I added the additional smaller rainbow, coloured using Sponge Daubers and placed it amongst the clouds. To finish off the card I've placed a few Fresh Freesia iridescent gems and splatter of Clear Wink of Stella.

3 Mini Note Cards

The Rainbow of Happiness bundle is perfect for creating three adorable fun note cards and I just couldn't go past without making them for my daughter. I know she'll be so happy to receive them in her lunch box while at school.

Using the same colours as the above mentioned watercolour wash on Shimmery White Cardstock as I did for the slimline card and die-cut out using the medium size rainbow for the three cards.

The measurements for the cards are - Card base 16cm x 8cm, score at 8cm and Shimmery White Panel 7.5cm x 7.5cm.

The Pacific Point card is my favourite out of the three I just love the watercolour wash background using the Balmy Blue and Pacific Point. I've added White Baker's Twine and layered the sentiment over the rainbow.

The Mango Melody card is bright and I added Gold Gilded Leafing to the card for the idea of a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The watercolour wash panel is a mix of So Saffron and Mango Melody. The stitched heart and star are from the Give it a Whirl Dies. I left out the greeting, as I think the card looks perfect without one.

The Fresh Freesia card has a bright pink background wash using Polished Pink and Magenta Madness inks. To create the purple rainbow I've used Gorgeous Grape and Fresh Freesia by adding ink onto the Clear Block and mix with water. Apply coloured ink to Shimmery White Cardstock and move the ink around using the Heat Tool for a fun splattered look.

I just love the greeting on this card "you make me happy" it's a fun positive message! I've added a couple of the stitched stars to the greeting and finished off with Polished Pink iridescent rhinestones for pink raindrops.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you've enjoyed my projects featuring the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle. Now click on over to the Stampin' Up! Facebook page for more ideas on this bundle.

Global Design Project #GDP325 Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome,

I just had to enter into the latest Global Design Project #GDP325 and it's a Colour Challenge. I just couldn't resist these pretty colours they've chosen, it's like cotton candy!

I'm really loving rainbows at the moment and the Rainbow of Happiness bundle is perfect for Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Pool Party. That's a lot of PP's!

To create the background cloud panel, I've used the Cloud Punch and punched out a cloud to create a faux masking technique with Blending Brushes. Starting with Pool Party then onto Polished Pink and Pale Papaya.

The rainbows are a watercolour wash using Shimmery White Cardstock, the challenge colours and Water Painters I like to use the wide brush tip. This gives the rainbows a softer look. I've used the Brilliant Rainbow Dies to die-cut out three rainbows.

All rainbows need soft clouds with a little colour and a couple of hearts. I've used the Sparkle & Shine Sequins to create raindrops and a little sparkle. To finish off the card I've stamped the sentiment in Polished Pink and adhered the cloud/rainbow panel to the card base.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below.

Colour Creations Blog Hop - Week 31 Night of Navy

 Hello and welcome

Tonight I'll be sharing with you Week 31 of Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team in Australia. It's been awhile since my last Colour Creation and I'm so excited to be joining the team for this weeks hop!

Each week there will be a Colour Creations blog hop showcasing Stampin' Up! Colors with a selection of members from the Art With Heart Team who will be joining in. I'm looking forward to seeing their beautiful projects using the Stampin' Up! Colors. You'll be able to hop around by clicking on the next link at the end of my blog.

The colour for tonight is Night of Navy which is part of the Neutrals Collection and comes in a number of different mediums such as Ink, Cardstock, DSP etc....I've used Night of Navy with Mango Melody and Gold for my hand made Rainbow card.

Today's card was inspired by the lovely Lou Kitzelman, she made a Christmas card last year using the Stitched Stars Dies and I was lucky enough to receive in the mail. I've used the new Rainbow of Happiness Bundle, it's on page 18 of the new Stampin' Up! Jan - June 2022 Mini Catalogue the bundle consists of the Rainbow of happiness Stamp Set and Brilliant Rainbow Dies. This was a must have when I first saw the catalogue.

I've paired the Rainbow bundle with the Abstract Beauty 4"x 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper. Did you notice the difference in measurements? Something a little bit different from Stampin' Up! You get 48 sheets, 4 each of 12 double-sided designs. This paper is right up my alley! The creative designs of artsy swooshes, splotches, brushstrokes and patterns are all ready for your projects. My favourite is the Night of Navy and Gold splotches sheet and it's perfect for my Night of Navy card. I've also added a couple of the floral DSP strips and layered them under the greeting and Gold Simply Elegant Trim.

To create the Mango Melody Rainbow wash I've used the negative from the Rainbow die-cut piece and then die-cut using the Layering Circle Dies. I added Gold Gilded Leafing on small amounts of dried up Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the Rainbow and then layered over the DSP with Dimensionals.

The Night of Navy ombre stitched clouds are from the Give it a Whirl Dies, I've added Night of Navy Ink to the clouds by using the Blending Brush.

To create the sentiment from a Rainbow into a straight line, I've stretched the Photopolymer stamp and by placing it on the block with a little of Stampin' Seal Plus. Stamp the image in Versamark Ink onto a strip of Night of Navy Cardstock, sprinkle Gold Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below.

Now it's time to hop along and visit the lovely Rosa Leyden to see her project please click on the link below

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Catherine Proctor and she will have the list of all participants.

Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI114

 Hello and welcome,

It's the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI114 and this photo was chosen by Lou Kitzelman. The photo is of Mooloolaba Beach in Queensland, I would so love to be sitting on that beach under the palm tree right now!

The colour combination for #CI114 is Balmy Blue, Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green and Sahara Sand. As well as the chosen colours you may also add Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and metallics to your project. We also allow 'Ivory' and 'Bronze' in the Stampin' Blends. If you don't have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Old Olive instead of Granny Apple Green .... you get the drift).

The challenge will run for almost 4 weeks until 7pm (AEST) on Monday 7th February 2022 details to follow at the end of my blog.

Today's card is a slimline card using the Blessings of Home Bundle which is on page 60 of the new Stampin' Up! Jan- June 2022 Mini Catalogue. This bundle is so beautiful and it's perfect for watercolouring. Which makes me happy and I need to do more of!

Starting with a slimline panel of Shimmery White Cardstock measured at 9.5cm x 21cm, I've inked up the large flower and foliage stamp in Stazon Black Ink and stamped randomly on the Cardstock leaving some white space for more stamping later on.

When it comes to watercolouring I like to have a bowl of water and paper towel. I've used the very fine tip Water Painter for colouring in the stamped images. Sometimes I would mix the challenge colours together on a Clear Block or blend them together on the Shimmery White Cardstock. It's interesting to see how the challenge colours can create new colours for your project.

I've also used the Friendly Hello Stamp Set which is FREE when you spend $180 on Stampin' Up! products. The stamp set is from the Saleabration Catalogue and it's in a bundle with the Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper. I've used a couple of the smaller images stamped off before stamping the image onto the Cardstock.

I've layered the greeting over a few of the watercoloured die-cut pieces from the Flowers of Homes Dies and a strip of Sahara Sand Cardstock. The card base is Sahara Sand Cardstock measured at 21.5cm x 20cm and scored at 10cm.

I hope I've inspired you with the latest challenge and I do hope you'll join in. We so look forward to seeing a variety of projects using the challenge colours. Please ensure that your project is new and made specifically for this challenge.

Use all of the challenge colours (or close substitutions) unless stated.

Upload only one picture per entry straight to the discussion wall and not in an album

Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI114 will run until 7pm (ADET) on Monday 7th February 2022.

To get your creative ideas flowing, make sure you check out the Crew's Project in the CI114 Album.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Friendly Hello

Hello and welcome,

It's Stamping 2nd Sunday latest blog hop for January, hosted by Sara Levin and for this month the design team will be showcasing the theme 'Saleabration' in our projects. The list of participants will be at the end of this blog.

Saleabration is here for January and February 2022 with lots of FREE goodies when you purchase Stampin' Up! products from the new Mini January to June 2022 Catalogue and the Annual 2021 to 2022 Catalogue. Once you've spent $90 AUD (before tax and shipping) on products you get to choose a FREE product from the Saleabration Catalogue. There are a range of  Saleabration items for either $90 AUD and $180 AUD. When you spend $180 AUD you can choose the stunning bundle Friendly Hello Stamp Set and Friendly Hello 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper which I've used in my projects.

I've created two cards using the stamp set and DSP plus other Stampin' Up! products from both catalogues. The first card I've used the Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper and layered it over Fresh Freesia Cardstock. I've used the Layering Circle Dies to create a Fresh Freesia Ring layered over the circle in Basic White Cardstock and I've added Pool Party Ink with the Blending Brush.

The flowers are stamped in Black Memento Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and coloured them in using the Stampin' Blends. I've used Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, Petal Pink, Pale Papaya and Pool Party. The images are fussy cut out using the Paper Snips and I also added Wink of Stella to the flowers.

The greeting is stamped in Fresh Freesia Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and die-cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

The second card I've used the Friendly Hello Stamp Set and other Stampin' Up! products. I started with a panel of Basic White Cardstock and created an ombre look by using Pool Party Ink with the Blending Brush. This is something I like to create a lot in my projects. I just love the Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes. I've embossed the ombre panel using the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder.

I've layered the ombre panel over Pool Party Cardstock and Bermuda Bay Cardstock which is the card base. Sometimes I like to off set the different pieces of Cardstock or Designer Series Paper for something a little bit different.

I really liked the Fresh Freesia ring in the first card, so I decided to create it again using Fresh Freesia Cardstock, die-cut out using the Layering Circle Dies and layered over a circle of Basic White Cardstock. I've added Fresh Freesia Ink to the circle in Basic White Cardstock by using the Blending Brush.

The stamped images are stamped in Black Memento Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and coloured in using Stampin' Blends. The colours are Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay, The images are fussy cut using the Paper Snips.

The greeting is stamped in Bermuda Bay Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and die-cut out using Stitched So Sweetly Dies. To finish off the card I've used the Iridescent Rhinestones Jewels which are on page 9 of the Mini Catalogue. They are so sweet to use in your projects.

2022 Artisan Design Team

 Hello and welcome,

I know it's been awhile since my last blog post. but I wanted to share with you all the amazing news that I'm now part of the Artisan Design Team for 2022. It's so exciting and I can't wait to share my creative journey for this year.

I applied last year and Stampin' Up! asked me to be on the team of 20 Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world and of course I said "Yes!"

They announced the news back in November 2021 at On Stage at home a special event for Demonstrators and we all received a white Artisan gift box which was decorated using new Stampin' Up! products from the Mini January to June 2022 Catalogue, a beautiful Tiffany bracelet and my very own personalised Artisan stamp with my name on it. Which I just love so much!

There are 20 of us on the team from different parts of the world, here's the list of names below. They are all amazing and I'm so glad to be part of such talent.

Thank you Stampin' Up! for giving me the opportunity to be part of this amazing Artisan Design Team for 2022. I'm so very grateful and I can't wait to share my creations with you all.

Happy stamping
