Colour Creations Blog Hop - Calypso Coral

 Hello and welcome

Tonight I'll be sharing with you Week 9 of Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team in Australia.

Each week there will be a Colour Creations blog hop showcasing Stampin' Up! Colors with a selection of members from the Art With Heart Team who will be joining in. I'm looking forward to seeing their beautiful projects using the Stampin' Up! Colors. You'll be able to hop around by clicking on the next link at the end of my blog.

The colour for tonight is Calypso Coral which is part of the Subtles Collection and comes in a number of different mediums such as Ink, Cardstock, DSP etc....I've used Calypso Coral with Basic White, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Smoky Slate for my handmade card.

The card I've created is a shabby chic card which is very similar to my Balmy Blue card with the bear  which I created awhile ago for Colour Creations. I've used the kangaroo this time in Smoky Slate watercolour from the Count on Me Stamp Set which is in the Annual Stampin' Catalogue.

The You're a Peach Designer Series Paper has beautiful floral designs as well as watercolour stripes in Calypso Coral. I've layered it over the embossed panel of Basic White Cardstock using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

Adding to the card is a couple of stitched tags from the Tailor Made Tags Dies, die-cut out in You're a Peach DSP, Basic White Cardstock with a little sponging using the Blending Brush in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. I've added Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace and White Baker's Twine to the tag.

The greeting is from the Create With Friends Stamp Set, stamped in Calypso Coral onto Basic White and fussy cut out.

Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI104

Hello and welcome,

It's the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI104 and this beautiful photo was chosen by Rose Packer one of the Design Crew Members. This colour combo is so beautiful and I just love the photo.

The colour combination for #CI104 is Basic White, Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler. As well as the chosen colours you may also add Basic White, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and metallics to your project. We also allow 'Ivory' and 'Bronze' in the Stampin' Blends. If you don't have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Real Red instead of Cherry Cobbler .... you get the drift).

The challenge will run for almost 2 weeks until 7pm (AEST) on Monday 9th August 2021 details to follow at the end of my blog.

I've created an Ombre background using Cherry Cobbler Ink and applied the ink with the Blending Brush onto Basic White Cardstock panel. I've added a few splatters using the Stampin' Blend in Cherry Cobbler by using the brush tip against the lid.

I wanted to add a little sparkle to the card so I've used the Black Glitter Paper which is available from the Mini August to December Catalogue, I've die-cut it out using the detailed die from the Floral Heart Dies.

The greeting is from the coordinating Always in My Heart Stamp Set, I've used Versamark Ink, sprinkled Black Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. Then die-cut the greeting out using the stitched label die.

I hope you can participate in this latest round and as we so look forward to seeing a variety of projects using the challenge colours. Please ensure that your project is new and made specially for this challenge.

Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI104 will run until 7pm (ADET) on Monday 9th August 2021.

Week 4 Heart of Christmas Blog Hop

  Hello and welcome

I'll be sharing with you a sneak peek of new products from the Stampin' Up! Mini August - December 2021 Catalogue. I always love to create cards and paper craft for Christmas and I'm so in love with the new mini catalogue. Stampin' Up! sure know how to give us a variety of products to suit everyone.

Tonight's Art With Heart blog hop is hosted by Tina Gillespie with a selection of members from the Art With Heart Team who will be joining in. I'm looking forward to seeing their beautiful projects using Stampin' Up! products.

Stampin' Up! have the new August - December 2021 Stampin' Up Mini Catalogue which is coming out very soon for our customers. As demonstrators we are lucky receive the catalogue and also pre-purchase products from the Mini Catalogue and there's more exciting news! Stampin' Up! have Sale-A-Bration from 3 August - 30 September 2021 or unless sold out earlier. Choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration product with every $90 AUD or $180 AUD you spend (before shipping and handling). I always love free Stampin' Up! products. It's also a good time to stock up on your crafting supplies.

The Christmas card I've created for tonight's blog hop is using the Merriest Moments Bundle and Hybrid Embossing Folder. Last week I created a landscape orientation card using this bundle, so for this week I wanted to show it in a portrait style card. Portrait cards are my usual style when it comes to card making.

I've used my Blending Brushes to create a softer pink by adding Polished Pink Ink directly onto the image of the stamp with the brush and then stamp the image onto the cardstock.

Using Basic White Cardstock for the large detail die from the Merriest Frames Dies and this gives you more detail when embossed using the Hybrid Embossing Folder. I've added Mint Macaron Ink for a softer green and it goes nicely with Polished Pink.

The greeting is from the Merriest Moments Stamp Set, stamped in Polished Pink onto Basic White Cardstock which was lightly sponged with Polished Pink Ink.

The card base is Mossy Meadow Cardstock layered with a panel of Polished Pink Cardstock and on top of that is a panel of Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper. I've used the pretty Mossy Meadow and Polished Pink holly leaf and berries DSP. I really love this combination of green and pink together.

I hope I've inspired you to start creating your own Christmas projects using paper craft. Stampin' Up! have so many beautiful products and I just love how it all coordinates.

Well that's it for me and I'm so excited to see everyone's Christmas projects so make sure you hope around the blog hop. Next up is Diane Furniss just click on the next button below.

Global Design Project #GDP301 Colour Challenge

 Hello and welcome,

I've entered my latest handmade card in a colour challenge for the latest Global Design Project #GDP301.

The colours are Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana and Polished Pink for the challenge. I love this colour palette!

I've used new products from the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue July - December 2021, as a demonstrator we can pre-order from the catalogue and also from the Saleabration Catalogue too.

The Welcoming Woods Stamp Set is so beautiful, I was drawn to the wintery tree images and the sentiments which come in different fonts.

Starting with the Basic White panel I've added Coastal Cabana Ink using the Blending Brush to the Cardstock and then applied Polished Pink Ink. I've used Night of Navy Ink for the trees and snowflakes.

The Night of Navy panel is dry embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, adding Night of Navy Ink to the edges with the Blending Brush and I ruffed up the edges with the paper snips.

The greeting is heat embossed using Versamark Ink stamped on Night of Navy Cardstock, sprinkled White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. Adding White Baker's Twine to finish off the card.

Week 3 Heart of Christmas Blog Hop

 Hello and welcome

I'll be sharing with you a sneak peek of new products from the Stampin' Up! Mini August - December 2021 and Saleabration Catalogue. I'm so in love with both catalogues and there is a variety of products to suit everyone.

Tonight's Art With Heart blog hop is hosted by Sharon Davern, with a selection of members from the Art With Heart Team who will be joining in.

The Christmas card I've created tonight is a mixture of bundles, special papers and Saleabration. Again I've used Fresh Freesia as my main colour for the project, I just love this colour and it's a little bit different to the traditional Christmas colours.

I started with the FREE Saleabration Penguin Playmates 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (this paper is so cute) for my project and decided on the Fresh Freesia snowflake DSP as my base panel. Layered on top of Fresh Freesia Cardstock as the card base.

I wanted to try out the Snowy White 12" x 12" Velvet Sheets which is flocked velvet and die-cut/dry emboss with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder. I was going to go with white but I changed my mind and coloured it with Fresh Freesia Ink and with the Blending Brush.

The greeting is from the Merriest Moments Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and die-cut out with the stitched die.

The cute penguin is from the Penguin Place Bundle which comes with the Penguin Builder Punch. The punch also coordinates with the FREE Penguin Playmates 12 x 12 DSP which makes creating cards so much easier.

I've stamped the penguin in Memento Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, for the beak Fresh Freesia Ink and for the flippers Fresh Freesia Cardstock. There are lots of other images from the stamp set, I've stamped the gift packages in Fresh Freesia and fussy cut them out.

To finish off the card I've used the mirrored Silver Foil 12" x 12" and Basic White Cardstock for the snowflakes from the So Many Snow Flakes Dies. I added a little of Clear Wink of Stella to the card, but just a word of warning the glitter doesn't dry on the Snowy Velvet Sheets straight away!

I hope I've inspired you to start creating your own Christmas projects using paper craft. Stampin' Up! have so many beautiful products and I just love how it all coordinates.

 Hello and welcome

I've entered into the latest Global Design Project #GDP300 Case The Designer - Steffi Helmschrott who is an amazing designer from the team and I just love her projects. I've CASED her card by using the layout which saves you a lot of time when it comes to creating a card.

Today's card is a black and white card with shades of grey. I've created a unique background using Stampin' Blends, rubbing alcohol and a panel of Vellum. I've used a mix of  Smoky Slate and Basic Black Stampin' Blends.

The card base is Basic Black Cardstock with a layer of the black and white paper from the Beautifully Penned 12" x 12" which is FREE in the Saleabration Catalogue next month.

To finish off the card I've die-cut out the large butterfly detailed die from the Brilliant Wings Dies and the sentiment is heat embossed in White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto a strip of Basic Black Cardstock.

Paper Adventures Colour Challenge Blog Hop - Guest Designer

Hello and welcome to the Paper Adventures Team blog hop and welcome to my blog! I've been asked as Guest Designer for this month and it's a colour challenge! Thank you to Narelle for inviting me along for the challenge.

I hope this post finds you well and you are enjoying the Colour Challenge. The colours are Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie they were chosen by the team.

Colour challenges is something I do a lot of when it comes to paper craft and card making. I've created a succulent watercolour look for my thank you card. Something a little bit different as succulents are using shades of blues, greens and purples.

I've used the Simply Succulents and coordinating Potted Succulents Dies for the challenge. The images are stamped in Stazon Jet Black Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock. I like to use the fine tip brush when using the Water Painters for intricate detail.

I've used all three colours for the succulents starting off with a lighter colour and then add more ink as I go. For the pot I've started off using the large flat tip and applied Rich Razzleberry Ink lightly and then using the fine tip for more detail.

The card base is Rich Razzleberry Cardstock adding a layer of Basic White Cardstock. I've applied Basic Gray Ink with the Blending Brush to the white cardstock this gives the look of a shadow for the pot and succulents.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and thanks to the Paper Adventures Team for inviting me along to be part of their hop.

Click on the NEXT button to visit Lisa Whitehead I'm sure you're going to love her creation using these colours.
